"Me and my momma always did simple stuff for thanksgiving" I explained to Dre as I had him walking through PINK with me, just buying shit "it was mostly just me and her cause Autumn would always take the kids to Destin's family and if she did come, it would only be her because destin wants to show off the kids like he do shit. And Aubrielle... tuh. That girl always took the girls with her to spend the holidays with whatever nigga she was dating at the time's family"

"Yeah. And it used to hurt my momma's feelings but it is what it is. This year they'll all be here.. well except for aubrielle obviously" I shrugged and Dre laughed

I twisted up my lip while looking through the panties, grabbing all of the ones I like
"Baby you like these?" I held up a pair of red laced ones "ima put these on our next date"

I smiled "see lemme find em in every color now"
Dre laughed and walked off while I was still picking out panties
"You ain supposed to leave me over here by myself. What if somebody come kidnap me"

I sucked my teeth before laughing. Once I got all of the panties I wanted, I walked over to Dre, who was busy picking sweaters and shirts out
"You like these too?" He asked, pointing at some of the joggers. I looked at the stuff he had draped over his arm and laughed
"Who you buying all of that for?"
"You want these too or nah?" Dre repeated
"Sure"
"Ight then"
"Oh shut up" I pushed him a little
"You got all the ones you wanted?"
"Yeah I think so"
"Ight then" he said as he grabbed some of the joggers in all three colors available. He then followed me the the line leading to the register and once it was my turn he ended up paying for everything
Once we finished at PINK, we started to walk through the mall and Dre has his arm thrown across my shoulders
"So what you plan on doing for Gigi's birthday while you got her?" I asked Dre and he shrugged
"Sad thing is ion really know what to do. I don't know what she like or none of that and I should. Being that that's my baby.. my ONLY child, for right now. And I been getting her every other weekend but it only been like that for a month or two so I gotta take the time to actually learn about her and when I do get her it's something changing everytime"
"Well what did y'all do for her birthday last year?"
"Nothing. She wouldn't let me see her at all. Ain saw her for her birthday, Christmas.. nothing"

"Seriously. None of her first's? Especially her first birthday?"
"Well me and ol girl had already fell out by then but it started getting bad around thanksgiving cause this girl I was fuckin with at the time.. I guess she related to maggie so Maggie told Aysia I was on FaceTime with her cousin and Aysia went on social media callin me all types of shit, saying I cheated on her and I ain ever cheat a day in my life. My momma don't play that shit when it came to us and relationships. But yeah, she was just going off so I hit her up and we got into it. I told her she ain gone ever be shit to me other than Gigi's momma and that's that"
