Aubrielle wasn't doing good still. The doctors tried to convince my momma to just let her go, however my momma believed otherwise so I stayed with her at the hospital all day yesterday and didn't get home until late last night. Honestly I was beyond exhausted physically and mentally, like shit couldn't get any worse at this moment
I was in the mood for a bath in the middle of the day so I took one. I had the light in the bathroom off, a scented candle from bath and body works lit, my bonnet on and a warm rag over my eyes while I soaked in the bubble bath
Me and aubrielle did not get along at all but regardless, that's my big sister. I couldn't imagine losing her especially with the terms we were talking on. I just wish she would've did better
I could hear a knock on the bathroom door before it opened up and the light turned on causing me to let out a sigh
"I guess it's open" I responded, not even moving to take the rag from over my face. By the sound of the person chuckling, I knew it was Dre.
I started to take the rag from over my face but he stopped me
"Nah keep chillin. I was just letting you know I was here. You straight?"
"Yeah I'm good. I just needed to relax but I'm bout to get out in a while before I prune up like a raisin"
"Well whatchu wanna eat?"
"It don't matter. Where you going to get something to eat from?"
"I'm cookin"
I rose my eyebrow while lifting the rag to look at him and damn. My man was fine as hell
"You cooking forreal?"
"You hungry or Nah?"
"Yeah.. I'll just eat whatever you cook then"
"Ight"
I put the rag back over my head as he turned the light back off and left the bathroom. I continued to relax in the bath for another 10-20 minutes before eventually getting out, going in my room and got dressed in a comfortable pair of shorts and an old shirt from high school
"It smell good in here" I told Dre as I walked into the kitchen, seeing him closing the oven "so you actually can cook more than breakfast foods"
"Some like that"
"Trin left?"
"Yeah she walked out when I came in. She ain bout to go do shit but fuck on Darius"
I laughed and shook my head, sitting on the counter. Dre walked in between my legs and I kissed him
"What made you wanna cook?"
"I came over here to make sure yo ass was straight"
"I'm good. I'm just... I don't know. They said it's pointless to try to save her but... I don't know Dre" I rubbed my face "that's my big sister"
"Yo sister gone be fine Analise. Ion need you worrying, sad or none of that. She good. And when she get better this gone be a wake up call for her"
"I hope so cause Dre I can't lose her. No matter what we went through, that's my big sister"
"What I gotta do to cheer you up?"
I shrugged, placing my hands on both sides of his face
"You here right now. That's all I need..."
"Emoni told me my momma was talkin bout you"
"What I do?"
"Nothin" he shook his head "she said everytime somebody ask bout me she'll mention you"
