"I don't know why I had to be given the biggest job of this whole dinner" I mumbled as I put the macaroni in the oven and set the timer.
Other than my momma, I was the best cook out of all of us and we all agreed but damn. Why couldn't I get to do something like the stuffing or.. anything else other than the macaroni
"I feel like I'm about to throw up" trin groaned as she walked from down the hall and leaned against the counter. I looked at her and laughed
"You look like you about to forreal. If so do it somewhere else"
She sucked her teeth causing me to laugh a little
"You can't be that nervous about going over there to meet Darius and Dre's momma. She's cool people"
"Of course she like you. Everybody like you... except Aysia of course"
I gave her a side eye while wiping my hands and cleaning up my mess
"Fuck that girl. It anyways I think she'll like you. Y'all kinda act alike if you ask me"
"That don't help at all. Thank you Analise"
I smiled hearing a knock on the door
"You can get that" she told me, rubbing her stomach
"You so nervous now but you wasn't this nervous when you was riding her son dick raw" I laughed, going to answer the door and smiled seeing it was Darius with Gianna
She smiled as she looked at me and reached for me to grab her
"Hey pretty girl!" I grabbed her from Darius and he walked in the house "how did you end up with her?"
"I had to go pick her up from Aysia momma cause all of em on that bullshit"
"So she mad cause Dre ended up reporting what she was tryina do"
"Hell yeah. They was on the phone going back and forth all day yesterday straight up violating each other. Especially Dre. Then Aysia and her people got into it cause she mad that they all took Dre side and said she needed to let him get Gigi in the first place so now she ain talkin to them, they canceled they lil cruise completely and Aysia dropped Gigi off to her momma then said don't hit her up until it's time for her to get Gigi back"
"Wowwww" I laughed while putting Gigi down and she reached for my hand
"Nana"
"Aweee" I poked out my lip and looked at Darius "you and trin go have me a girl"
"I gotchu"
"You ain got shit" trin cursed as he walked over to her. Trin pushed him back "no. Back yo ass up"
"Why you tryina show out in front of lil dre"
"You know what I want from you for Christmas? I want you to learn my name"
Gigi held onto my hand as she walked through the apartment so I followed her until she went to my room
"Night night" Gianna pointed at the bed while pulling me to it so I picked her up and sat her down on the bed. She crawled her way to the pillows and laid down with a smile
"Oh you going to sleep on me?"
She shook her head with a smile before pretending to close her eyes and laughed. Her little laugh was so contagious I found myself laughing as well, sitting down on the bed near her
I could not sit here and pretend like I didn't have mad love for this little girl. She was so beautiful and innocent. I just hate that she's put in a situation with a momma like hers
