"Auntie wake up" I heard a little girls voice say along with a hand shaking and tapping me
"Auntieeeee" another one said as well so I turned over, putting my pillow over my head. But once I really realized it was two little girls I sat up while taking the pillow off of my head. Both Layton and Zoe were on my bed wearing matching pink and white dresses with unicorns on them and braids in their hair with pink and white beads
I smiled seeing them
"How did y'all get here?"
"Grandma" Zoè answered as I gave the both of them hugs "she said we had to wake you up so you won't be late for your graduation"
"What time is it?" I grabbed my phone and looked at the time "I still got there hours until I gotta be there"
"And it takes you a thousand hours to get dressed auntie" Layton tried to play me
"Oh so it's like that?" I asked her and she laughed while Zoè grabbed my hand, pulling me
"Get up auntie. You can't be late"
"Can I just lay down for like 5 more minutes?"
"5 dollars" Layton held her hand out and Zoe nodded, agreeing with her. I looked at them some type of way while pushing the covers off of me
"Little finessers"
I got out of the bed and left the room with them following behind me, seeing my momma and trin in the kitchen talking while my momma cooked
There were a dozen graduation balloons, a stuffed bear and two gift bags sitting in the living room as I walked past but I ignored it for now. It seemed like everybody was excited about today but me which is crazy because I've been so ready for graduation for so long
"Look who finally woke up" my momma smiled
"I had no choice. I was forced to get out of MY bed in MY apartment by two little girls"
"But you got up though"
I rolled my eyes
"Oh cheer up Analise. We can't be happier than you on your graduation day. You know how long you been waiting on this moment" trin said to me
"Well now that it's here I don't really care. I just wanna get this day over with so I can eat later"
"Of course you want food. And speaking of food I just started cooking so you need to go ahead and wash and stuff so you can eat"
"Sure... where's my sister?"
My momma let out a sigh "Autumn had to get herself and 3 busy kids dressed. She'll meet us at the graduation"
"And that is why my limit will be one child"
Trin scoffed "you might as well say two cause if you wanna be honest, Gigi belongs to you and Dre"
"Oh he finally got her full time?" My momma asked and I shook my head
"No but he's been getting her a lot lately"
"Well that's good right?"
"Yeahhh... you can say that"
"Well unfortunately everything isn't always easy when it comes to coparenting. But it's good to see that he's really trying to be in his daughter's life cause so many other people would've gave up a long time ago... I'm surprised you not up under him right now and actually home"
