"Girl I can't believe momma actually like Dre" Autumn said to me while she dried Brooklyn's face, who was playing in one of the pools my momma brought for the party
I looked over at dre seeing him and my momma talking and laughing it up along with Zoe's daddy. Ever since we got here I barely got a chance to be around him cause everybody else was so interested in talking to him for some reason
"Auntieeee" Layton yelled as she ran over to me laughing. She was soaking wet from the water and shook a little "it's cold"
"Here" I grabbed one of the towels and wrapped it around her. Just as she was about to sit beside me one of the kids yelled her name so she handed me back the towel and took off back to the water. I sucked my teeth and autumn laughed
"Welcome to the life of a parent. Kids so indecisive"
"That's why I know I'm good off em right now"
"Why didn't Dre bring his daughter?"
"He took her back to her aunt house yesterday cause his babymomma came home last night"
"Mhhh. He shouldn't have taken her back"
"Yeah I could tell he ain wanted to drop her off but.." I shrugged "he'll have her soon"
"Good"
Autumn looked around and the look on her face instantly turned sour
"What?" I asked, turning to follow her gaze. Aubrielle walked into the backyard and no fucking surprise, Aysia was with her but with no Gianna
"No. I'm not doing this today" I started to get up but autumn grabbed my hand and pulled me down
"You ain going nowhere. Fuck aubrielle and that girl! This Layton day Ana"
I deeply sighed, rolling my eyes
"Mommy!" Layton yelled, running all the way over to pregnant Aubrielle which caught a lot of people's attention, including Zoe's daddy, my momma and Dre.
Zoè, on the other hand, didn't even seem excited to see her momma. I guess maybe because she's older than Layton she understands, but instead she walked over to her daddy and sat near him
"So you can't help get stuff for a party you DidnT pLaN yet you can show up empty handed. No gift or nothin- just hush autumn. Just hush" autumn said to herself.
"Thank you for not inviting me to my own child's party" aubrielle said to autumn as they both approached the table and Layton followed behind, happy to see her momma
Aysia tried her best to make eye contact with me but I was not about to entertain this girl so I looked off, tryin not to turn this whole party out cause I already said everytime I see her ima beat her ass
"I still ain see you bring anything to the party so..."
Autumn made a face then looked at me
"Well hey Analise" she tried to be sarcastic and I got up, walking off. I was about to go in the house but I heard my momma call my name so I went over to where she was
"Yes" I answered, approaching them
"You okay?"
"I'm perfectly fine"
"No you ain't" Dre said to me "I was just tellin yo momma bout Aysia"
"Well ima need you to stop cause every time you mention her she pop up like the candyman"
