sammy's pov

"okay, cara. i don't know how you're gonna take this, but i mean you honestly have no choice," i said, trying to laugh.

she smiled with me and then asked what was funny.

"so, i'm gonna be hanging out with a couple of my friends at a party tonight, and they wanna meet my girlfriend. do you think you'd want to come with me?"

"yeah, sounds cool! what should i wear? i have to go home to get my clothes for it, but it sounds cool," she replied, standing up.

"ok, well, i guess you can now, if you want to get ready. i'll be here and we can drive together," i said, moving aside for her to open the front door.

she said goodbye to me and kissed my cheek on her way out. i felt my cheeks warm, so i shut the door to further any embarrassment.

i heard a knock on my front door and i looked up from my phone. it must be cara, since the party was in an hour.

i opened it and saw her beautiful face staring back at me.

"hey!" she smiled, letting herself in.

my mouth gaped open as i stared at her outfit, yeah it sounds typical, but she's the most beautiful girl i've seen in a long time.

"hey! you look amazing," i told her, almost at a loss for words.
