cara's pov
after getting practically rejected by sam, i decided to keep quiet about it for the rest of the day to prevent any awkwardness.
we were currently walking around westfield mall, looking around for clothes and such. if i was going to be living with him for a while, then i may as well have some outfits over there.
"hey, you want to go in there?" sam asked after a few minutes.
he was pointing to forever 21, a store that i usually didn't shop at, but i figured i would just to see what was there. i smiled at him and we walked in together. i looked around the store and my eyes landed on a sweater on the top of a pile. it was all black and had gold accents on it, and i was in love with it.
"how cute is this?" i asked, grinning as i picked it up to show it to him.
"yeah. you like it, babe?"
he checked his watch for a second and then looked at me.
"uh huh. i'll go pay for it right now, and then we can leave, i promise." i said, walking over to the short line by the cash registers.
-
"ok, cara, i think we should go now, it's getting kind of late and i think they close in, like, ten minutes, so..." sam said, pointing to the exit.
i nodded and he led me back to the car, and we both got in.
"thanks for taking me sam, i had lots of fun!" i said, fastening my seatbelt.
"no problem, i'm glad you liked it!"
i smiled and blushed, staying quiet for the rest of the car ride.
