sammy's pov

"how's your food, babe?" i asked cara, taking a sip of my water.

"great, what about you?"

i nodded and smiled at her.

"looks like you're almost done there," i laughed, pointing at her plate.

"bruh, this pasta was really good, sorry," she replied sarcastically.

"i know babe, i know" i laughed, "do you want to order dessert?"

she nodded eagerly and i smiled. she politely gestured for the waiter to take our dessert order.

"so, any preference on dessert?" the waiter, chris, asked.

"yeah, so she'll have the chocolate soufflé, and i'll have the oreo cheesecake."

cara smiled warmly at me and i grabbed her hand from under the table. chris left after writing down our orders and cars and i started talking.

"so, did you send in your resume for american apparel yet?" i asked.

"no, i don't know how to write it, let alone what to put on it," she sighed, frowning.

"aw, baby, i'll help you if you want. should we start it tomorrow? because by the time we're finished and it's checked over, you can send them it."

"wow, i'd love that! thank you so much sam!" she exclaimed.

i watched the smile on her face light up and i had to smile at that. she was just so perfect.

don't message me to "update or you'll delete my book out of your library" because trust me that doesn't motivate me any more than you not saying that (yeah i'm looking at you)
