one month later
i reached for my ringing cell phone in the charger on my desk and answered it.
"hello?"
"hello, can i speak to cara moliner, please?"
"this is her, why?" i replied.
"this is jay parker from the five guys burgers on beverly avenue. i wanted to let you know that we accepted your application and look forward to having you work with us."
i almost forgot that i applied for a job there. i smiled and waited a second before i answered.
"oh wow, thank you. when do i start?"
i quickly typed the details onto the notes on my phone and hung up. i can't wait to tell sam about it, even though it was only a burger restaurant. i know he's going to be proud of me.
i wanted to tell you guys that i'm going to be updating this book a little more frequently now. i got some great ideas and i think i'm going to use them. this chapter was just a little way for me to warm up and get in the habit of writing this book, that's why it was so short. love youuu
