Week 31: Relieving Tension

It's Survivor Series night. Stephanie is with AJ, Alissa, and Tamina to talk about tonight's match

"I think we should end tonights match on a high note with a double finisher. You with the Sunset Flip and me with the Kudo Driver since it'll probably be the last time we team together for a while."

"Sounds good and we still have to go over your last match tomorrow. I can't believe you're leaving."

"I know, but I gotta get back to the independent scene again. It's where I belong."

She's distracted when she sees Mark talking to the Usos. She waits until he's finished to go and talk to him about the storyline.

"Hey Mark, can I talk to you for minute?"

"Sure, what's going on?"

"I know that Alissa and I are supposed to win tonight so we have to face each other tomorrow for her last match, I was wondering if this is the one? A title shot?"

"Look, I know you're tired of hearing this but it's not really set in stone yet so don't get your hopes up." Mark pats her shoulder before leaving her to talk to other superstars.

Stephanie's breathing become rapid as her throat begins to tighten. She clenches her fists so tight her nails begin to dig into her palms. Quickly, she regains her normal stature as she walks to look for some relief.

Speeding down the hall she finds Dean talking to Cesaro. She excuses herself for interrupting them and slipping away from everyone she pulls Dean into a storage closet and locks the door. Before he can even say anything, Stephanie covers his mouth with her lips. She unzips the jacket he has over his vest.

"Whoa," Dean grabs her by the shoulders, "what's wrong?"

"Does something have to be wrong for us to have sex?"

"No, but something feels different this time."

Stephanie rolls her eyes, "What happened to the not talking part of this whole thing?" She says pulls her top off.

"Usually I'd be all for it but there's something wrong that you're not telling me."

She reaches to unbuckle his belt, "It's nothing. Now can you just take off your pants?"

With no more arguments, Dean complies.

Later that night during the divas match...

Dean, Roman and Seth are watching the match from backstage. He continues to think about their earlier encounter.

"Did you guys catch Steph earlier? She seemed a little off, no?"

Seth shrugs his shoulders, "She did seem more serious than usual."

"She's probably just focused on her match tonight." Roman adds.

"Yeah, she's supposed to win tonight which means a title shot so how could she not be focused on that."

Dean nods his head, "That could be it. Plus, better late than never for her to become champ."
