It's the wedding rehearsal, the majority of the invites are superstars and divas from WWE and the rest are family and friends. The only thing missing is the groom who is running late to the rehearsal.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen have practiced their entrances leading into the bride and groom to practice their stance.

"How are we gonna do this without Brent here?" Stephanie asks the wedding planner.

The wedding planner looks around the room then gets an idea, "Okay, we're just gonna need a substitute for now." As she finished her sentence, she grabs Dean by the arm and places him in the spot where the groom is supposed to be.

"Me?" He says confusingly.

"Well you guys are an onscreen couple and it's just until Brent gets here."

Both Stephanie and Dean nod.

"Okay so Stephanie, when you get here your dad will hand you off to Brent then he will lift your veil." She says looking at Dean to do so.

Hesitantly, Dean takes a step forward and pretends to lift a veil over Stephanie's face.

"Then you will take each other's hands..." Stephanie places her hands into Dean's. "...once you two say your I do's, you'll kiss..."

Suddenly the doors swing open and here comes Brent rushing into the rehearsals.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." Brent greets Stephanie with a kiss to the cheek.

The wedding planner pats Dean on the shoulder, "Dean, thank you for substituting."

Dean smirks, "Anytime,"

"Yeah, Dean, I think I got it from here now." Brent takes the spot where Dean was to stand in front of Stephanie.

Dean takes a seat beside Seth Rollins and all the other guests. Stephanie glances over at Dean sitting when she feels he should be standing...with her.

After finishing up the rehearsal, everyone went out for the wedding dinner. Stephanie and Brent are sitting next to each other with their family next to them on each side of the table. Dean, Seth, and Roman are sitting about six seats on her side of the table.

The wedding planner comes into the room to make an announcement, "On behalf of Brent and Stephanie, I would like to thank everyone for coming tonight. I am honored to be planning this wedding for Stephanie Skye. Now I know that some of you guys aren't going to be able to make the wedding so if anyone wants to make a toast to the future Mr. and Mrs. now would be a good time to."

It's quiet for a few minutes until one person stands up from their chair in preparation to give a speech.

"I'd like to say something really quick." Dean says taking a breath. "For almost a year I've had the pleasure of working with Stephanie. She took the role of my girlfriend onscreen and with a lot of talent of willpower and acting she was able to become, not only convincing, but the best girlfriend. So to be married to her for real would make any man happy. I know that I was when she was faking it so I know that she'll make Brent happy and they'll last a lifetime." Dean lifts his glass, "To you guys."

Everyone at the table raises their glass in unison to agree with the toast.

Later that night...

Stephanie is in her hotel room alone looking through her schedule of things to do before she heads back to work. Suddenly her mind goes to the speech that Dean had given earlier. She becomes curious about it. She grabs her phone to write a text.

Stephanie: That was a nice speech you made at dinner.

Dean: It wasn't an act you know? I really meant it. That was me showing my sensitive side.

Stephanie: Well thanks for not making a joke about it.

Dean: For you...anything

She sits there thinking about what to reply back when another message comes through her phone which causes her heart to race.

Dean: Now do me a favor

Stephanie: Sure

Dean: If I knock on your door tonight don't answer it

Stephanie doesn't reply, not wanting to give him a promising answer.

A few hours later, Stephanie is getting dressed in order to get ready for bed when she hears a knock on the door. Her heart begins to race when she reaches the door to look through the peephole. Just as she suspected there was Dean standing in front of the door. She reaches for the doorknob but before touching it she think about the text message he last wrote. Putting thought into it she clenches her hand into a fist. Resisting every urge to just open the door and jump into his arms, completely forgetting the wedding.

Another knock comes from the door. Stephanie leans her shoulder into the door and slowly slides down to the floor until the knocking went away. She looks down at her left hand and at the engagement ring when a drop of water falls on her hand.
