Week 5: Playing His Game But Better

After finishing a little backstage segment, Stephanie is hanging out with John and Nicole aka Nikki Bella.

"So Steph," Nicole says, "I hear that things between you and Dean are getting interesting."

"Yes, because him and the Shield kidnapping me tonight is always a turn on for some." She says sarcastically.

"Seriously, though."

Stephanie crosses her arms, "I don't know, it's whatever. I just want to get this whole thing over with and the sad thing is I don't know how much longer I have to be involved in this storyline. I mean Seth and Roman are cool guys but I just don't feel comfortable being involved with Dean. He's always such a douche to me."

"Douchey how?" John asks.

"He just always picks on me and stuff."

Nicole smirks, "Oh maybe he likes you." She says in a singing voice.

"Ha, don't even joke about that. Besides he's not my type anyway."

"Well if it's bothering you that much just ask Mark to adjust the storyline so you can get out of it."

"I don't know I dont like to complain about stuff because it's all business and nothing personal."

"That's up to you but remember how many guys AJ kissed so it can only be a matter of time before you and Ambrose are making out in the middle of that ring."

Stephanie stomach began to knot up at the though, "I'm gonna go find Mark."

 After a few minutes of quickly searching for Mark before the main event, she manages to find him in an office room.

“Mark, can I talk to you for a minute?”

“Sure, have a seat.”

Stephanie takes the seat across from him, “I just wanted to ask if it was possible to get me out of the storyline with the Shield?”

“That might be a little difficult to do considering that your story with the Shield is what’s hot right now with the fans.”

“I understand that but I feel like this is just a storyline that should be evolved around John and the Shield instead of me added to that.”

Mark crosses his arms, “I’m surprised to hear this coming from you since you have always been the one saying that more divas should be involved in more of the guys’ stories. Plus, there is already a huge fan base supporting you and Dean Ambrose which has come to our attention so we were hoping to get you two together more.”

“I don’t really think Dean and I can't really get along let alone be an on-screen couple.”

“Well think of it like this, you and Dean get together therefore that gives you more air time and more recognition which will ultimately lead to a championship opportunity.”

It suddenly starts to make sense to Stephanie that she could use the popularity but doesn’t know if she could handle being with Ambrose.

“Look, just get through tonight and think it over. If you still feel the same then we’ll see what we can do.”

Stephanie nods her head, “That’s fair. I’ll do what I can.”

Later that night Stephanie is at ringside awaiting to be kidnapped by the Shield, as planned. While waiting, she starts to think about what Mark said about being a part of this whole storyline.

Is being a couple with Dean really worth a championship match?

"Perhaps I can get around him by playing his games but better."

“Here is your winner by way of count out…John Cena.”

Stephanie senses someone coming up behind her. She gets lifted off her feet by Roman Reigns, she knows it’s him because of the long wet hair touching her shoulders. When he gets swung around she sees Dean coming towards her to grab her legs. She starts screaming and acting like a victim as Roman passed her over into Dean’s arms. Dean tossed Stephanie over his shoulder as they all ran to the back.

“I’ve never been kidnapped before but hopefully this is convincing enough.” Stephanie feels Dean’s hand on her ass. She decides to get back at him by grabbing his. “See how you like it. Well his butt isn’t that bad…what am I talking about I can’t stand him.”

Once they get to the backstage area, Dean gently puts Stephanie down as Roman and Seth catch up to them.

“That was intense.” Roman says.

“Nice flailing back there Stephanie,” Seth pats her on the back, “Very dramatic.”

“Thanks I hope that’s a good thing.”

Seth and Roman walk down the hall leaving Dean and Stephanie behind.

Dean has a smile on his face, “What?” Stephanie asks shrugging her shoulders.

“You grabbed my ass.” He says playfully.

Stephanie smirks and leans up to Dean’s face, “Only because you touched mine.” She slides past him and continues to walk down the hallway to the locker rooms.

“I think I’m beginning to like where this is going.” He shouts behind her.

She turns to smile at him, “It’s all your gonna get so don't get too excited.”

She begins to think that she can handle him after all.
