There were times when people called them crazy, but they knew better. The shadows that lingered in the corner of their eyes were tangible.
It was hard living this way, but it was probably for the best. At least that's what they've told themselves, what they have been telling themselves after all these years. To the point where the only time they felt comfort was when they closed their eyes.
They were looking for a change, a good one. So they moved to a different city where they took the role of an ordinary student with exceptional grades.
They had a problem, one they fixed. They were finally happy! So why did they see a shadow stalk their popular classmate?

|| Thank you for reading the prologue!! I will assure you that chapters will be longer than this- I don't have a schedule as of now, but If there happens to be a wave of readers I'll try to make one for convenience.
