•a few days later•
Laying in Nava's bed, I watch as she gets ready for work. Standing in front of her dresser, she puts her earrings in then puts her necklace on before pulling her hair around her face.
"You're beautiful, Angel" I tell her when she starts checking herself out and she looks at me with a smile.
"Thank you. I'm almost ready."
"Take your time." I look at my phone for the time. Nava has a good thirty minutes before she needs to leave, she just likes getting to work early.
Done putting on her jewelry, she turns to me. "So what do you have planned for today?"
"I'm finishing up I Feel It Coming. I should be done by the time you get off so we can meet up with this wedding planner"
As a form of apology for the prenup bullshit, Sal gave me a recommendation for the wedding planning agency that him and Rima went to last year. Our appointment is today at six.
Coming to crawl on the bed, Nava straddles my lap. "I'm kind of excited now"
"Me too" I take her hand to look at the spot her ring should be. "I can't wait to make you permanently mine" I kiss her fingers.
"I think you did that already with baby N" she giggles making me smile.
"Are you sure about the date?" I ask one more time.
"Yes, August nineteenth is a great date. I'll be able to drop the baby weight, you'll be on break, and we can go on our honeymoon before you go back on tour in September. It's perfect"
Rolling my eyes I move to sit up, "If that's what you want"
"What you want matters too" she takes my face to make me look her in the eye.
"You don't want a judge to marry us"
"Abel-"
"We can still have a wedding if that's what this is about" I wrap my arms around her waist to pull her close. "Can you think about it? Please, we could be married and no one would have to know" I pout.
Staring at me, she's about to say something when Wesley knocks on the door.
"Breakfast is ready" she calls.
"Okay, thanks. Be right there" Nava calls back.
Kissing me, she moves to get up.
"Nava-"
"Not right now, Abel" she gathers her purse and shoes then walks out the room. Staring at the door, I shake my head looking at Thursday who's laying in her bed.
"She's not going to make this easy is she?"
Thursday just stares at me and I smile as I stand to grab my shoes and slip them on. Walking out into the living room I find the girls in the kitchen making themselves a plate of whatever Wesley made this morning.
Since I started staying with Wesley I see what Lamar was talking about with her meal portions. She makes a bunch of food for no reason. It still gets eaten though.
At the dining room table, I pull my phone out to get on Twitter.
"You're not going to eat?" I hear Wesley ask when she puts her plate down.
