Present Day, Few Hours Earlier,
Anubhav woke up found himself sleeping in sitting position. He remembered yesterday's conversation of Naveen and Hassena. His chain of thoughts broke when his phone rung up. He saw IG calling him. He quickly received the call.
Anubhav: Jai Hind sir!
IG: Jai Hind, kya baat hai Anubhav aaj bohot low sound kar rahe ho?
Anubhav: nahi sir, aaisi koi baat nahi hai, lekin aap ne itni subah phone kiya. Koi gadbad...
IG: nahi nahi koi gadbad nahi hui hai. Bas tumhe ye yaad dilane ke liye phone kiya tha ki Commissioner sir ne jis vakt aane ke liye kaha hai, aa jana vakt pe.
Anubhav: thik hai sir haam aa jayenge. Jai Hind!
He disconnected the call. He signed and got up to freshen up when his phone rung again. It was Naveen.
Anubhav: are Naveen, aap. Aaj apne sir ki yaad aa hi gayi na?
Naveen: nahi sir, aaisi toh koi baat nahi hai?
Anubhav noticed the sadness in his voice.
Anubhav ( concerned ): kya baat hai Naveen? Pareshan kyu ho? Ho ha sach batana tumhare beti ki kasam!
Naveen ( crying ): kasam lene ke liye beti honi chahiye na!
Anubhav: ye kya keh rahe ho tum. Kuch toh soch samajh kar bolo. Aaise aapni beti ke baare main. Buddhi toh thik hai tumhari.
Naveen told him everything.
Anubhav ( guilty and sad ): I am sorry! Hame maaf kar dijiye. Hame pata nahi tha. Aapne aap ko please sambhaliye. Aacha phone kiya itni subha?
Naveen: hamne aapko yeh batane ke liye phone kiya tha ki humne transfer le liya hai. Ho sake to aake mil lijiye. Thik hai, rakhte hai. Jai Hind.
He disconnected the call and Anubhav cursed himself for speaking the words he shouldn't.
He freshen up and left for headquarters.

In Mahila Police Thaana,
Everyone was working seriously on the Suraj Murder case when Hassena entered. Hassena saluted and they saluted back.
Hassena: aap sab jara hamare cabin mein aaye. Hame aapse jaruri baat karni hai.
They nodded and they were in her cabin.
Pushpa ji: kya hua madam?
Hassena: actually kaal Naveen sir hamare ghar aaye the. Unhone hame bataya ki Suraj ke murder ka case aab hame handle karna hai. Naveen sir ke transfer ke karan aaisa hua hai.
Karishma: madam, Naveen sir ne aaise achanak transfer kyu le liya.
Hassena: unki marji Karishma Singh. Aab hume baas iss case par dhyaan dena hai. Clear.
All: yes madam!
Hassena: thik hai, aab jaiye aur kaam par lagiye. ( To Santosh) Santosh aap yahi rukiye hame aapse baat karni hai.
All others except Santosh left.
Hassena: jis phone number se Karishma Singh ko phone aya tha, uss ka location trace kijiye.
Santosh: yes madam!
And she left.

Anubhav was in Commissioner's office with IG.
Commissioner: Aarti tumne Adil aur Akash ko sab samjha diya hai na?
Aarti: ha sir, maine unhe sab kuch samajha diya hai. Voh log shaam ko vaha pohach jayenge.
Commissioner: good. ( To Anubhav ) Anubhav, Hassena and team ko inform kar dijiye.
Anubhav: thik hai sir.
Aarti and Anubhav left the cabin for some sort of work.

Hassena was working in her cabin when Santosh entered.
Santosh: madam voh location trace nahi ho paya hai.
Hassena: kya! Hame laga hi tha ki aaisa hi kuch hoga...
She was speaking when her phone rang. It was Anubhav. She thought he is going to apologise so she was going to disconnect but she thought it maybe an important work for her so she received the call.
Hassena took a deep breath before speaking anything else.
Hassena: Jai Hind sir!
Anubhav: Jai Hind! Voh baat ye hai ki Commissioner sir ne Karishma Singh, aapko aur puri MPT ki team ko unke office mein bulaya hai. So aap lunch ke baad aa jaeye. Approximately 2.30pm.
Hassena ( coldly ): ji sir. Hum saab ke saat aa jayenge.
Anubhav: Jai Hind!
And he disconnected the call. Hassena couldn't believe that he didn't even bother to apologise about his behaviour. But she decided to ignore it.
Cheeta: kiska phone tha Maddam?
Hassena: DSP sir ka! Hume unhone Headquarters bulaya hai, Commissioner sir ki office mein.
Karishma: kab jana hai Maddam?
Hassena: lunch ke baad. Filhal aap kaam par vaapas jaye.
All left.

At 2.00 pm Hassena, Karishma and all other members were present at Headquarters. Anubhav came. They saluted each other.
Anubhav: aap sab thodi der aur ruk jaiye Commissioner sir jaise hi free honge aapse milenge aur aapse jo jaruri baat karni hai, voh bhi karenge, lekin office mein sirf Hassena Mallik aur Karishma Singh hi jaenge.
Hassena: sir, fir aapne saari team ko yaha kyu bulaya?
Anubhav: uski vajah hum aapko baad mein bataenge. Sabse pehle chaliye Hassena Mallik hame aapse kuch jaruri baat karni hai. Tab tak aap sab ko yahi rukna padega.
Santosh: koi baat nahi sir, aap jaeye baat karke aaiye.
They both entered Anubhav's cabin.
Anubhav: Hassena Mallik, parso raat ko jo hua mujhe aapse us baat ke liye maafi...
Anubhav's statement was cut off by Hassena.
Hassena: nahi sir, aapko uss baat ke maafi mangne ki jarurat nahi hai, hum samjhte hai aap tension mein honge isiliye aapne humse ye saab kaha hoga.
Anubhav: nahi Hassena Mallik, aap sirf ye hame dikhane ke liye bol rahi hai, asli baat toh yeh hai ki aapne abhi tak hame dil se maaf nahi kiya.
Hassena: sir, dekhiye..
Hassena stopped as she saw Karishma entering the cabin.
Karishma: Maddam Sir, chaliye Commissioner sir ne bulaya hai.
Hassena: chaliye..
They moved towards door.
Karishma ( in mind ): aab chahe jo ho jaye hum aapni Maddam sir ko aapke karib nahi rehne denge Anubhav Singh.
