Life SUCKS.

Too much stress.

  ***STILL SOFIA'S POV****

    The school nurse checks Treasure's temperature and sighs.
    From the look on the doctor's face I hope it's not that bad. Her family is still struggling to survive,not to add her sickness to their problems. That would probably drain all their money. I wish I could really help them,but my dad doesn't like them one bit.

   The last time I tried to help them,my dad just kept on blabbing on how we shouldn't help them. He claimed helping them would be like an insult to his kind of person. He also told me to stay away from them as the only thing they're trying to do is be someone else's burden.

    My dad is a greedy business man. He even blocked my account so I don't help them out with my money. I was so mad at him for blocking my account but I didn't have a say, since I was under age. I can't wait to get into the university. I can't wait to be eighteen because I believe I would be half free from my dictating father.

    I have been waiting for Tres for two hours now. I guess she is finally getting a bed rest. She is always stressing herself out. Even after school she still goes to work just to support her family. I have told her that earning a scholarship was enough but she is stubborn.

    The school nurse finally announces that's she is awake and that we can see her.
    I ask "Is she fine,I mean why did she faint like that?"
    "Well it was due to stress,can you imagine she hasn't eaten since yesterday morning and she wanted to give an article". The nurse shakes her head.
     "Wait you mean she hasn't eaten since yesterday?" Samuel asked shocked. "But she was looking so strong,that means she does it so often. What kind of fasting is that one na. This girl wants to kill us sha. I was even thinking it was malaria or something. But it was hunger,she should have just told us she was hungry".

    "This life is sad, she promised me she would stop starving herself. But she broke it,now look at the consequences. She fainted and we were worried. I'm so killing her", I said being more dramatic than ever.
    "Drama queen it's okay,let's go and check on her" Samuel said amidst laughter.
    "Since you guys are done chatting,follow me. But be quiet,I don't want to hear any noise at all from you two".
       

    We followed the nurse inside,not without giving her the "looks". Treasure was sitting upright on her bed smiling at us. After making us panic,she was smiling. This girl is so unbelievable.. We both sat at the end of the bed and gave her the "look".

      *****TREASURE'S POV****

    Oh no,they are giving me that look. That means they are very angry with me. Oh God what should I do.
       "Samuel love,Sofia darling"..
    "Don't sweet talk us Tres, we're mad at you. How could you not tell your best friend you were starving? I thought our bond was strong enough, little did I know it was all a lie". Sofia replied with all the anger she could muster. I honestly don't like seeing her like that. I looked at Samuel hoping for him to help me out of this like he always does.

      "Hey, don't look at me. You deserve everything you're getting right now. How could you not eat? You know I'm rich and sparing a little amount of money won't harm me. And you call yourself my girlfriend and won't think it's necessary to tell me things like this?"

     In between tears, "I'm sorry,I was going to eat during break. I didn't know I was that weak to have actually fainted. I have never fainted before, so I didn't know my body had reached it's limit.. I'm so sorry,I promise to eat four times a day. I swear", I said while sniffing.

     "No don't cry,jeez it's okay. You're forgiven... You look like a monster anytime you cry", Samuel pinched each side of my cheeks slightly.
   " You guys are so cute,when will God give me a boyfriend. I'm tired of being single. By the way,if you starve yourself again I won't talk to you ever,you hear me", Sofia said while getting up.

    "I won't I promise,let's go to class, the nurse gave me food to eat tho", I said while getting up.
  "Are you sure you don't want to rest? Because I would die for an opportunity to miss class. And you got it and you just want to throw it out the window". Samuel said, helping me out.

    "Firstly, I don't like missing class whatsoever. Secondly, missing class means writing the notes later and that would spoil my perfect timetable. Thirdly,who finds joy in missing classes. Fourthly,you're just lazy".

     "I'm not lazy,I just don't like school. If I'm lazy how am I able to pass all my subjects without struggles?. I'm just too smart for the teachers. Now forget it, don't lecture me please,I love my ears" He said covering his ears.

   Before I could reply him,the bell was rung for second period. We were having Biology my second most favorite subject. We were having Biology and Mrs Yemi won't let us into the class if we're late.

    Luckily for us,Mrs Yemi wasn't in class yet so we took our various seats. I could feel everyone staring at me probably because I fainted. I don't fancy attention,I don't like people staring too especially so intense,even though that's what I have been getting since I agreed to be Samuel's girlfriend last two months. I knew they didn't care about me neither would they pretend to care. But I knew the reason while they were staring more intensely, was because they wanted to know the reason behind me fainting.

   " She fainted just because she hasn't eaten. Jeeeeez,she isn't pregnant. Now kindly mind your business", screamed Sofia and just like that everyone stopped staring.
    I sigh "Thank goodness you're my seat partner, thank you so much Sofia. I know if neither you or Samuel was in class they would have approached me. They would have also called me names. I don't know what I ever did to them", I replied getting emotional. I'm a very emotional person, any little thing gets to me and leaves me scattered.

     "Don't get emotional or I will slap you. I'm your best friend and best friends are the best. I wish our name could make one cute word. But all my brain processes is Sotress or Treaso or Treasfia. And those names are so stupid!".

    I laughed,the foolish nicknames were so silly. How did her mind think of those. But she is right tho,our names can't be combined together. That's sad,it would have brought more vibes. Just then  Mrs Yemi walks into the class.
