Joyce was just sitting on the couch, nervously waiting for the kids and Lonnie to come home, when the phone rang, which almost gave her heart attack. She picked it up quickly, hoping it wasn't Lonnie
"Hey, Joyce." Oh thank god it was just Murray
"Hey Murray." She said, ignoring the painful bruises from last night's fight with Lonnie, which wasn't anything unusual
"Can you come over tomorrow?"
"Yeah...Why?" She was confused about his weird question
"I found something-About Jim."
The second he mentioned Hopper, she said "Okay, I'm coming tomorrow."
"Great. See you then." Murray said, then ended the phone call.
When the kids finally got home, they barley even came in at first. They cracked the door open, looked around the house, and finally came in
"Hey guys." She smiled, hating the fact that they were so scared, they could barley even come in "Where's Jonathan?"
"Spending the night with Nancy." Will answered as he and El sat down and began to eat.
Trying to lighten the mood, she asked "How was your day?"
Luckily, the kids talking about all the fun they had that day was just what they needed to lighten the mood. Finally, all of them were smiling and happy.
After dinner, they enjoyed watching a movie together, and luckily, Lonnie still hadn't come home
"Night mom." Will muttered as he and El headed to bed
"Night." She smiled. She changed and laid down on her bed, thinking of Hopper as usual. And, of course, that's when Lonnie got home.
Her door opened. It was Lonnie
"H-Hey!" She said quickly, hoping he wouldn't hurt her or do something stupid.
He stumbled in "Let me get on you. Now."
"N-No. What are you talking about?" She realized he was drunk as usual, but this was unusual
"You know what I mean. Now."
"N-No, I'm not in the mood." She tried to refuse, but before she knew it, Lonnie was naked, and getting on top of her
"Yes. Or I'll hurt them." Lonnie whispered.
"O-One sec." She knew that if Lonnie was forcing her to have sex, she wasn't getting pregnant again. Before he could do anything more, she ran to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. She was going to let him do whatever he wanted to, she didn't really have a choice, but she had to have something in here that would help, right?
She started rummaging through the bathroom cabinets, desperate for something, anything. She had birth control pills, but she hadn't taken those in years, so that wouldn't work. She had an IUD put in on Lonnie's command after Will had been born, but she wasn't even sure if that would work.
She let out a quiet sigh. She had nothing that would be a sure fire protection. She had to just pray.
She walked back to the bedroom, wishing every step she used was to get away instead of going towards what felt like her death.
"Finally." Lonnie grumbled when he saw she was back in the room. She said nothing.
Lonnie first locked the door, then, with surprising force, shoved her onto the bed, stripping her of her clothes and soon doing the same to himself
She closed her eyes, just to not have to look at his face. She tried to pretend it was Hopper in his place, someone who actually cared about her and someone she cared about, But as soon as he pushed himself in, her fantasy broke. He was too big to fit in her, too much so that it was almost hurting. She didn't remember this with Jonathan or Will, but that was mainly cause she had been a little drunk. Hopper would never hurt her like this.
She bit her lip to try and keep a cry of pain from coming out, and begged, "Please. It hurts. Please stop."
Lonnie looked up from between her legs, shaking his head, "You asked for it."
"No-"
It was useless. Nothing she did would stop him. She had to stop putting up a fight, just so it'd go by quicker.
When he released inside of her, she tried picture Hop and do the same. If she hadn't, he'd probably just get mad again.

When she woke up, Lonnie was still asleep. Oh god, last night had really happened. Great. Just great.
She checked her watch, and since it was almost 9:00 AM, and she knew it would take a while to get to Murray's, she got up, doing her best not to wake Lonnie up.
She scribbled down a note for the kids, but before she could leave, she heard "Mom? Where are you going?"
It was just Jonathan, which somehow made it worse "Murray's."
"O-Okay, but why?"
"Long story." She tried to lie
"Mom, is this about Hopper?" Jonathan sighed "Mom, I know it's hard, but you have to face the fact that he's dead."
"No, he's not. Leave me alone." She snapped at him
"Mom, this is getting unhealthy. I know you guys were close friends-"
"I LOVE HIM, AND HE'S NOT DEAD, SO LEAVE ME ALONE!" She snapped loudly, then realized what she had said. Even worse, Will and El had heard their conversation. Before anyone could say anything, she rushed out of the house, tears rushing down her face. Great. If her and Jonathan arguing was enough to wake the kids up, then she might as well assume that all of Hawkins knew she loved Hopper

A/N: sorry I haven't updated in a while, and sorry if this part is kinda bad. I'm terrible at writing sex scenes, but I hope you still enjoyed this chapter, along with the other chapter I published today. Yes, two chapters in one day! Since I kinda left you guys hanging (ddlc reference for anyone that gets it) I thought I'd give you two chapters instead of just one. Again, hoped you guys enjoyed!
