(Hopper's POV)

One day, he called Gray, the person that was trying to sell Joyce's house, and told him to come to his office
"Am I in trouble, Chief?" Gary asked, nervously sitting down
"No, I was just looking for a house, if you have any on the market."
"Oh, well I do have one house. It's not in the best condition."
"That's fine. How much is it up for?"
"$10,000."
"Okay, could you show me around some time?"
That had all happened a few weeks ago. He had bought the house, and was now almost done with getting it ready to show to Joyce and the kids
"Hey, you okay?" Joyce asked as she snuggled on him, her perfect body warm
"Yeah, just thinking." He kissed her on her little forehead, smiling, "Have you told the kids about the move?"
"No, not yet." Joyce bit her lip, "I still don't wanna move
"I know, but you should tell them. I could help." He reassured her
"God, you're hot..." Joyce muttered as she pressed her hand into his chest, obviously trying to change the subject
"You're hotter." He smirked
"No, you are." She teased, ruffling his hair, then lying back on to his chest, "Night, baby."
"Night." He smiled, then fell asleep with him

In the morning, he wasn't really paying attention to what he was doing. He was on auto-pilot as he got up, pulled his clothes on, had breakfast with the kids, and went to work. He was just trying to get it to do faster, and luckily, before he knew it, it was already lunch time!
"Hey Hop!" Joyce smiled as he walked in, quickly giving him a kiss
"Hey Joycie!" He smiled and kissed back, "Lunch?"
"Lunch."
As they ate, Joyce asked, "You okay? You seem nervous."
"Yeah, I'm fine." Honestly, he was a little nervous that they wouldn't like the house, or they would wanna move out of Hawkins
"Something's off, but if you don't wanna talk about it, that's fine." Joyce ruffled his hair, "God, you're cute in that uniform."
"Thanks." He smiled
After work, he went to the house to finish up. He had told Joyce he was working late so he didn't worry her when he didn't come home
He grabbed the stuff he needed out of his trunk and started to work
After hours of working on the messed-up floors, everything was finally ready. He checked the entire house to make sure he didn't miss anything, and then drove back home
"Guys-We-We're moving." He heard Joyce telling the kids as he walked in
"Actually, we're not." He smiled, slightly out of breath
"W-What do you mean?" Joyce asked
"Come with me."
He drove them to the house, not telling them he owned it
"This is nice. What does this have to do with us moving?" Joyce asked as they stood outside the house
"This house...Is actually ours!" He announces
"WHAT?!" Joyce exclaimed
"I bought it, and now it's ours. Unless you don't want it-"
"No! It's ours!" Joyce hugged him tightly "Oh Hop!"
"Do you wanna see inside?"
"YES!" All of them exclaimed

(Joyce's POV)

When Hopper let them into their new home, she could hardly bealive what she was seeing. A two-story, nicely polished house, empty though she could see where everything was supposed to go
"T-This is amazing!" She exclaimed, still not believing that Hopper bought this house for them
"Do you want me to show you guys around?" Hopper asked them, holding her hand
"Yes!"
She followed Hopper around the house, him showing them the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and dining room
"Upstairs?" Hopper asked her, bringing her to the stairs
"Sure!" She smiled and followed him upstairs.
"So these would be the kids rooms," Hopper motioned towards three good-sized room, "And this one's ours."
She stepped into a big master bedroom with a closet that she might actually be able to walk in
"Wow." She simply muttered, then hugged Hopper, "Thank you so much."
"Of course. This is your home. And I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving me."
"Geez, since when did you get poetic?" She chuckled into his chest
"Love you too." Hopper ruffled her hair
"Hey-Oh, sorry." El burst into the room, then realized that her parents were in there
"It's fine." She pulled away from Hopper, the asked her daughter, "Do you like the house?"
"Yeah!" El smiled
She then heard a knock on the door, so she went downstairs to see who it was
"Will? You guys are the ones that moved in here?" She heard Will and El's friend, Dustin, was there
"Yeah, dad just bought the place."
"The chief?" Dustin asked, genuinely surprised
"Yep." She smiled
"Hey Joyci-Oh hey." Hop said when he saw Dustin
"Dustin! Who is it?" She heard Mike call
"Just-come over here!" Dustin called to his friends
When the kids friends saw them, they were obviously shocked
"Will? El? You live here now?"
"Well, we're moving in here, so yeah." Will told them
"I didn't know you guys were moving."
"We just found out."

A week later, it was finally moving day
"HOP! COME HELP ME!" She called to her boyfriend, her holding what she only realized now was a heavy box
"COMING!" Hopper yelled back
"Thanks." She wiped the sweat off her forehead, Hopper taking the box to the U-Haul truck
"That should be the last one." Jonathan said, "You guys ready to go?"
"Yeah." Will said, looking wistfully at the house
"You guys okay?" She asked her sons. She knew that it was hard leaving the place they had live their entire lives
"Yeah." Will smiled, a small tear in his eye
"Don't worry, we're only moving five minutes." She reassured him
"See you guys in five minutes!" Their friends joked as they drove out of the driveway
After quickly driving to their house, the kids and their friends helped unpack everything, which took them what felt like eternity, but was really just a few very long hours
Tired from the day's work, she and Hopper flopped on the bed, then he asked, "What do you want for dinner?"
"As long as we don't have to cook it, anything." She said, her voice muffled by her pillow
"Sandwiches it is." Hopper kissed her on the forehead, then went to make 'dinner'
She wasn't surprised when only three minutes later, Hopper called, "Dinner's ready!"
After eating a decent meal of sandwiches (her still surprised Hopper could cook), they all went to their bedrooms since they hadn't hooked the TV up yet, and the kids had some homework that was due Monday
"What do you wanna do?" Hopper asked, them holding hands and lying in bed
"Well," She smirked, "I have an idea."

(Hopper's POV)

He smiled at his girlfriend as they laid in bed, already knowing what was coming
"Yeah? What's your idea?" He asked, pretending not to know the answer
Suddenly, Joyce grabbed him by the shirt and slammed him against the bed, his heard pounding, her breath against his neck
"Shirt. Off." Joyce ordered, whispering in his ear, completely controlling him
"Yes m-ma'am." He did as he was told, and tossed his shirt to the side
Joyce bit her lip, "Oh god, Hop..."
"What? This is what you see every night." He teased
"Yeah, but the sweat is making your chest glisten...oh god."
He sucked on her neck, bringing Joyce back to reality
"Now, what did you want to do?" He asked, using his seductive voice to woo her
"I-I-" Joyce hesitated for a second, coming back from her dazed staring, and dove in to kiss him all over, biting a few times
"Joyce-" He was able to mutter against her lips, "The-Kids-"
"Eh, they won't here." She whispered in his ear, making him desperate for her again. Joyce was like a drug, and he was completely and utterly addicted to her
"He-Oh-I'm just gonna-" Before he realized what was going on, he heard footsteps running
"Kids?" He guessed
"Kids." Joyce confirmed, now giving him hickeys on his chest
Eventually, Joyce stopped and laid down on his chest, pulling the warm blanket over them, the cool October weather starting to get to them
"I love you." Joyce muttered into his chest
"I love you too." He answered, running his fingers through her hair as he slowly started to drift to sleep.
