Veronica Westcourt, the only daughter of Dionysus at Camp Half-Blood, had many, many issues. Her fatal flaw, her mommy issues, her inability to show emotions to most people. She'd been at camp for nine years now, and besides her brothers, the only half-blood she talked to was a misfitted daughter of Ares and an older Apollo daughter. She didn't have anyone else.
So when she's offered a new life with the Hunters of Artemis, she's quite interested in the opportunity. And while there are a lot of pros, there are some cons, like sacrificing her few good relationships and abandoning those she holds dear.
Then you throw in a quest to save her enemy's friend and the goddess Artemis, and you've got a stew going. So Veronica experiences the feeling of seeing the world after being cooped up at camp for years on end. With two half-friends, two strangers, and Perseus Jackson.
Hopefully, he won't drive her insane along the way.
