I'm going to cut to the chase.
The rewrite of Veronica's story will be very different from the version in this book.
For starters, it will be published as an entirely separate book, although I will notify this book's readers when it is uploaded.
Additionally, the rewritten story will be under a new name, which is to be determined. It will have a redone book cover, follow more of the original PJO series instead of starting in The Titan's Curse, introduce more characters (many of whom are scrapped OCs of mine), and delve into slightly darker themes.
Along with these current plans, I want to expand on the lore of Veronica's childhood and her mother Marjorie. In addition to newer characters, some characters will be scrapped or recast.
As it is still in development, I'm contemplating aging the characters up slightly (maybe by a year or so) to better adjust to the themes I want to introduce given what point they stand at on the timeline. Let me know your thoughts on this.
No, this version of the book will not be taken down, at least not until the rewrite is completed. This version of the book will still be up to enjoy for those of you who'd like to reread before the rewrite comes out.
