Part 16

We get to the compound. I make sure to stand a respectfully space away from Peter. But now what is a respectful space apart? Peter and I are very close so if we stand too far apart, people are going to get suspicious. But, if we stand too close, people are definitely going to know something is going on. Maybe, I'm over thinking it. We go into the kitchen to grab a snack before doing our homework. I don't see anyone around. They must be on a mission. We go into my room, I don't know why but I lock my door, and we start working on our homework. After our homework we decide to watch a movie in room. We cuddle up next to each other. It's not like we didn't do this before. For about half-an-hour, I look at peter and look away when he looks at me and he does the same. Why are we both being so awkward. I really want to kiss him again. But what if someone walks in? My door is locked and one kiss won't hurt. I look at him but this time not looking away when he looked back at me. "What?" He asked. I don't say anything, I just give him a quick peck on the lips. Why is this so nerve-wrecking? We're dating now. He kisses me back but more passionately. I move on top of him so I'm straddling him. His hands rest on my hips. I run my fingers through his hair. Now his hair is super messy. I hear noises from the kitchen but neither of us pull part. This is perfect. I don't think I've ever been so happy. But it all comes to an end when I hear my door knob moving. "Luna? Are you in there?" Dad says. "Umm yeah. Give me a sec." I yell back at him. I get off Peter and unlock the door. "Heyyy dad" I sound so suspicious. "Hey honey," He says while eyeing me weirdly, "Why was your door locked? You never lock it." he looks past me and sees Peter lying on my bed. His hair is so messy. "Hey Peter" I look back at my dad, trying to think of something to say. "We didn't want to get distracted while doing homework. Where were you?" I ask quickly to change te subject. "Mission. I'll leave you two be. Just don't lock the door." Dad says quietly to me. He leaves and closes the door.

"Soo" I say to Peter. "Soo" he says back, coping my tone. "That was fun." "Yeah" He looks at me with his beautiful brown eyes. "So what do you want to do. Cause we can't go back to what were doing, no matter how fun" Peter says. "Look, Peter, we need to come up with a plan. Like do we have to wait till the tower is empty for us to make out? Or do I lock my door? They are going to know something is up if I lock my door every time you're in here. Also who do we tell? Do we tell MJ and Ned? I know we said we'd keep it a secret but think they would figure it out. But then again, I would rather keep it a secret from everyone, just for a bit. I know we literally just started dating like an hour ago but-" "Luna, relax." Peter says. We spend the next hour figuring things out. We've decided that we'll spend more time at Peter's since Aunt May gets home late a lot. And then we'll come to the compound when 'we have a lot of homework and really need to concentrate'. We aren't going to tell anyone until we are comfortable.
