"No I want this one!" Harmony shouted while gesturing to the angel costume.
"Okay are you sure?" I ask. She'd been saying that she wanted every costume we walked passed. And everytime I retrieved it she would say 'I don't want that one.' She was driving me crazy.
"Yes I'm sure." She replied while glaring at the boxes of cereal down the aisle.
"Okay." I grab the creamy white suit and place it in the cart. We continue to walk through the store grabbing groceries and nonessential items to the cart.
As we approach the checkout, I spy a figure walking towards us. As they come closer I scan their face. I sigh in annoyance. It was Landon.
He was smiling. I hadn't seen him since he got his butt whipped by Shayne, and quite frankly I didn't want to.
"Hey cutie." His voice was deep and his dark hair curled behind his ears as his brown eyes settle on me. Why did every one refrain from using my God given name?
I disregard him by throwing the frozen peas on the stand. He stands there looking at me. Before grabbing some things out of the cart and placing things on top of the checkout table. I didn't say anything because he was helping with the work. But also because I was thinking. Well I'm always thinking. However, I was trying to decipher this problem, his actions toward me were inappropriate, and I just didn't have the energy to deal with him.
I paid for the food with him still by my side.
I pull the cart to the side so Harmony couldn't hear our conversation.
"What do you want Landon?"
"I came to apologize to you for my actions at the party."
Well that caught me off guard.
"It was totally irrational and unprofessional. I'm sorry."
I wanted to kiss him right then and there. Because he apologized for his actions, not many guys do that. And I find that incredibly attractive when they do.
"Your fine. Thanks for the apologie." I say.
He smirks. "No problem want me to walk you to your car?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Me and my sister got here by bus."
Now it was his turn to shake his head. "I won't stand for that. Let me take you home. If not for you than for your sister.."
I thought about it.
"OK."

We pulled up to my house. And I was thanking God my mom wasn't home. But someone else was... He was laying on my bed. When I came in. And I almost had a heart attack.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Exploring." He said.
I went to retrieve my phone when a pair of arms wrapped around me. A giggle escaped my lips unknowingly.
He turned me to face him. "What's so funny?" He asked a smirk visible on his face.
I stopped my laughter to reply. "Your face.''
He looked at me. And sighed. There was so much behind that sigh. Pain. Frustration. Confusion. Struggle.
" Who's Kato?"
