Pyper's POV

I was in the house with my crew.We were all together, once again. The first time in a while.

I was silently falling asleep,when my phone went off.

I swiftly take the remote out of
T.J's hand. "Hey." He exclaims. I ignore him and turn to abc news.

"Yes Debra i'm standing right where two teenage girls were found unconscious. On top of one named; Evanna Lopez was a recorder of both Kaylanna Lopez, the other girl and Evanna admitting to the deed, of the almost death of young 17 year old Pyper Timms."

"On the recorder investigators have discovered that Eva had a supply of meth pills and powder in her backyard."

"Theres no word from prosecutors but their court day is set for soon. Back to you Susan."

I can't breathe. I don't know what to call it, relief. Yea I was feeling relief. It was great knowing,that I was finally getting justice. After months of being afraid of going outside, going to school. Afraid I may be walking next to my almost killer. It was finally over.

A tear rolls down my face. I was so happy, so freaking happy.

Its like everyone in the room, felt the tension lift. They crush me with a group hug. My front door opens as Jaki releases me.

"Shayne!" I shriek with happiness. I pin him in a passionate hug.

"Thank you so much."
He looks down at me confused.

"For being the guy I can call mine." I exasperate.

I lean in kissing his plump lips.

I hear my friends laugh and I pull back my cheeks heating at my boldness.

"So we'll leave you two love birds. But uh Pyper we'll talk later." Leyah utters with a smirk.

I nod, holding in a chuckle as they all exit my warm home.

Shayne looks down at me, thoughtfully.

"I see you've heard the news." He comments.

"Yeah." I look at the muted blinking screen. "I feel like I'm free after being caged with worry."
