We arrived at the movies.With my best friends gaping at me. Shayne and I decided....I'm sorry Shayne decided to hold hands so I could show that I was his.
I simply was opposed by the idea. But he insisted.
He actually gave me a choice. It was that or we had to makeout during the movie. So you can see Why I chose 'hands' instead of 'mouths'.
While Shayne got the food with the guys I was asked dozen of questions by Jaki and Leyah.
"When did you guys get together? And did you already have sex." Were the only questions I got out of them all.
"We got together today." I pause. I didn't know if I should tell them about the bet or not.
I decided not to. "And no ew that's gross."
"The fvcking part or the playing with each other part?" Leyah asked.
"Both!" I shriek with disgust.
They both collapsed in a fit of giggles.
"Baby you ready?" His raspy voice snook up on me.
I cringed at that name.
But it slid smoothly off his tongue.
I forced a smile. "Yea."
We walk hand in hand in the movie theater.
We were seeing: Alexander and the horrible terrible no good very bad day.
As the movie went on I saw Shayne glance at me often. But it wasn't one of those obvious glances. You know?
It wasn't like Leyah caught it and she catches every little thing big or small.
After his billionth glance I had the ache to ask. "What're you looking at?"
"Something amazing. " He said.
My heart sorta melted. It wasn't that romantic but it was still cute.
I don't know why. But I placed my head on his broad shoulder.
He wrapped his warm arm around my small shoulders and kissed the top of my head.
I fell asleep like that wrapped in my boyfriends arms.
