"He is? well maybe he's doing it for your mother's sake, what I know is that only Terry and I can protect you" Khumalo came correct and it was Daniel's turn to be surprised
"Terry Peterson?" Daniel asked ridiculously
"That's right" Khumalo said curtly and Daniel knew was telling the truth
"Okay this is getting too deep for me, why are you here Jackson? just when things are going well for me you rock up and complicate everything" Daniel felt like he was running out of breath.
Indeed this was too deep for him, first it was Siya's betrayal and now it was Terry, after all these years of calling him uncle, he didn't even bother to tell him about Jackson.
"I know that this is a lot to take in but you need to know what we're up against" Khumalo said gently
"We? you gotta be kidding me, I'm not going to jail for you, I'm not doing anything with you, in fact I want nothing to do with you!" Daniel let it all out but Khumalo stood unmoved
"I totally understand what you must be going through but you can hate me all you like after we've dealt with Van Oosten and Kruger" Khumalo maintained his cool and Daniel kept quiet
"Look, if I leave you here, they are going to kill you and I can't have that on me" Khumalo added seriously
"So what do you suggest we do? go after them and burn them alive? I read somewhere that that's how you operate" Daniel said ridiculously trying to keep calm
"Yes, something like that, for now I'll leave Oscar and Sbu here with you and in a coupler days I'll let you in on my plans" Khumalo said
