CHAPTER 12: PARTING

Days went quicker than you thought and it was finally the day before you're going to leave. You went through all the necessary things that you should take with you and made sure you packed them all. This will be the second time you're going to a foreign country as you already went to Malta with your parents. Although this is not a new thing for you, you're a bit nervous and also sad to leave Minho and the country you lived with your parents for the past years.

A tear felt down from your cheeks without your knowledge. You started to cry in no time. But suddenly you came out from your thoughts as you felt your phone vibrating in your pocket. You took your phone out from your pocket and saw that Minho has sent a message for you.

[9.30am] Minho - Good morning! Ready? I am waiting at the gate..... :] :]

You and Minho discussed to spend the whole day outside doing the things you both like and buying the other necessary stuffs for you. You was waiting for Minho's message.

[9.31am] [Y/N] - Coming....give me a second.

You quickly typed a reply and wiped the tears falling down from your cheeks. You knew that this will be hard for Minho as much as it is for you. You went to the washroom and washed your face. You came near the mirror and made sure that you're looking perfect. You didn't want Minho to know that you're sad or cried before. You quickly grabbed your phone and other stuffs and went out. As you went near the gate you saw Minho waiting at the gate impatiently for you. You hurried your steps and quickly went near him.

"Yah....[Y/N], You took ages to come out. Do you know how long I have been waiting for you here?" Minho said as soon as you went near him.

"Sorry Minho. I had to make a lie for the matron" You told him a perfectly imperfect lie.

Minho rolled his eyes and you both laughed at each other.

"Shall we?" Asked Minho giving his hand for you.

You held his and with an unbearable pain roaming around your mind and hand. But you tried your best, not to show your sad emotions. You hid your emotions as much as possible and avoided the eye contact with Minho and so did he. You held his hand tightly and he did the same.

You both spent the day happily but the time went too fast than usual. Finally it was time for you both to separate. Minho came to drop you near the orphanage that you're going to leave soon. You stand opposite to him without knowing how to say goodbye. You looked at Minho and saw he was also completely clueless about what to do or say. Luckily he broke the awkward silence.

"So....I think it's the time for separate [Y/N]" Minho said letting out a sigh before speaking.

You looked at him and saw the fake smile he was giving to you. You too returned him with a fake smile and started speaking.

"Yeah......the day went pretty fast. Right?"

"Hmm....yeah. I will come tomorrow to pick you. Now go and have a good sleep as you want to get up early tomorrow. Don't forget to recheck all the stuffs you're going to take with you. Ok?"

"Yeah, I will. Thank you so much for spending the day with me Minho"
Minho returned you with a caring smile.

"So....I will......" You broke the silence directing your hand towards the orphanage.

"Yeah. I will call you" Minho said while nodding his head.

You returned to go back but suddenly a force dragged you towards Minho. It was Minho and he hugged you tightly. You started to cry.

"[Y/N], I will....I am sorry let me remain like this for few minutes" Said Minho hugging you tightly.

You hugged him tightly and all the tears you have controlled this far started to flow down from your eyes just like a flood. It seems like Minho have struggled a lot more than you. You remained silent as you didn't know what to say or what to do. But as always Minho broke the silence for you. You both separated and he started speaking holding your face with both of his hands.

"[Y/N], listen. No matter where you will go and what you will do, I will always love and support you. Don't look down at you. Because more than anyone else I know that you're strong. Even if you're there don't forget to call me if something happens. No matter what will happen I will help you. Ok?"

You nodded your head and started speaking.

"Minho thank you so much for everything. You helped me and protected me like a brother and you filled the space of parents, family and all. Because of you I was able to live like an ordinary girl with all the things happened to me. I....I feel so thankful for it. Minho you stayed with me without leaving me alone just like a brother. I...I am sorry if I've bothered you and I am sorry about all the things you had to face because of me. I love you too Minho but I am sorry for not accepting you" You said while crying.

Minho hugged you again.

"It's ok girl. No need to feel sorry. I love all the memories we've spent together and will cherish them forever"

"Thank you"

You said as both separated.
