CHAPTER 28: MY IDOL FRIEND

You shaped an O in your much.

"[Y/N]..."

"Hum?"

"I..I just want to know about what happened today in the university" Jungkook said hesitantly.

"Is it about Taemin?, The boy from yesterday?" You said while looking into his eyes.

Jungkook nodded his head.

"Do you like to go somewhere? I mean somewhere less crowded? I don't want to see a fuss here" Jungkook asked looking around.

You hesitated to give an answer. Jungkook noticed that you're hesitating and

"I mean only if you're comfortable with it. I just did not want to see a fuss"

"I..I understand. Let's go" You said after listening to his words.

Jungkook seemed bit surprised but quickly shrug it off and nodded to your answer.

After some minutes

You both arrived at a park. It was less crowded and there were only some grandparents and some small children. You both sat on a bench near a big tree. Neither you nor Jungkook spoke but after some moments Jungkook broke the silence as usual.

"So what happened? I would like to know about him" Jungkook said looking in front.

You let out a deep sigh before speaking.

You told the whole story about you and Taemin to Jungkook. You did not know why you agreed to come here or why you told everything to him. But throughout the conversation Jungkook listened to you very well and asked some questions to clear the points. You don't know why, but after talking to him you felt much relaxed. You felt like that you're not alone.

"What do you feel about it [Y/N]?" Jungkook asked from nowhere still looking at the front.

"About Taemin?" You asked looking at his eyes.

"Yeah. What do you feel about it?"

"Are you asking me whether I like him?"

"Yeah I am just asking it. Don't misunderstand...."

"How can I like someone when my heart is already belongs to you Jungkook?" You wondered while looking into his eyes.

"No. I don't like him" You said before letting Jungkook to finish his sentence.

"So it means he is forcing you. Right?" Jungkook asked after a moment of silence.

You nodded your head in response.

"[Y/N], I know I am not the right person to say these" Jungkook said with a slight hesitation.

You looked at his eyes and he looked back into yours.

"But no matter what will happen you can ask help of me. Ok? I know you're alone here and..."

"Do you pity me?" You asked cutting Jungkook off.

Jungkook kept looking into your eyes. You looked back at the front and started saying,

"Please don't pity me. I know I am weak and alone, but I don't want to see anyone pitying m..."

"Do you think I will pity you after all the cold behaviour I got from you?" Jungkook said cutting you off with a smirk on his face.

You couldn't help but smile at his response.

"I'm sorry about it. But it's equal now as I helped you today" You said playfully.

"No it's not. I have helped you earlier as well. So it's not equal [Y/N]" Jungkook said getting along with you.

"But you could have made a big trouble for me because of your childishness" You said without backing off.

"Oh....really? You could have done the same thing yesterday night" Jungkook said smiling at you with his significant bunny smile.

You smiled at him as well.

"But Jungkook it's........"

"Ok ok [Y/N] you won and now it's equal" JUngkook said chuckling softly.

"See I told you" You said pointing your index finger towards him.

"But [Y/N], I'm not a child. Ok? I came because I thought....."

"I know Jungkook. I'm sorry about it" You said with a faded smile.

"As you said sorry now, it's equal now" Jungkook said giggling.

"Jungkook...." You let out a small cry.

You both laughed together for a moment.

"[Y/N]"

"Hum?"

"Do you like to be friends with me?" Jungkook asked suddenly.

You thought for a while and you nodded your head with a light smile on your face.

"Great" Jungkook said with his bunny smile.

You returned him with a smile.

"[Y/N], now you don't need to worry about anything.

"Don't worry [Y/N], you have me. Don't think you're alone here. Ok? You have me and hyungs" Jungkook said with a sudden seriousness in his voice.

You nodded and smiled at his response.

"But Jungkook you didn't tell them about what I said about them earlier. Right?"

Jungkook acted like he was thinking before giving you an answer.

"Hmm...Yes?" Jungkook said looking at your eyes.

"What? No! How can you tell such a thing? You told me that you knew it's a lie. So why did......why are you laughing?" You asked with an annoyed voice.

"I...I..wait" Jungkook said and started laughing covering his face with his palms.

You scoffed annoyingly.

"Listen, calm down [Y/N]. Don't worry I didn't tell it. I was just joking" Jungkook said still laughing.

"It's not that funny Jungkook" You said still annoyingly.

"Come on [Y/N], it's just a joke"

"Ok then what did you tell them?"

"Mmm....I told everything about you to them except that bad acting and all"

"I told you, I had my reasons"

"I know.....I know. I like teasing you"

"Why every boy I've met so far likes teasing me?" You wondered.

"What made you tell about me to them?" You asked curiously looking into his eyes.

"Mmm...It's just, actually I had to tell them because that day when your arm got hurt, there were your blood in my shirt as well. So hyungs were worried that I might have injured myself, so I had to tell them what happened" Jungkook said casually.

"Oh...I didn't notice about it that day. I'm sorry" You said holding your arm with the other hand.

"It's ok. Stop saying sorry for everything" Jungkook said with a small smile.

You smiled and nodded your head in response.

You both have talked about some stuffs for another few minutes and finally he dropped you near your house. You refused the idea but he insisted to drop you as he did not have any work to do, as it was his vacation. You finally agreed as you both are friends now.

You was happy about how the things have went so far.
