CHAPTER 16: UNIVERSITY

You woke up early in the morning today. You haven't slept well last night but you managed to wake up early and get ready as this was the first day to the university. You went to the washroom and did your daily morning routine. You came to your closet and wore a beautiful black and white short frock. You wore a high ponytail and went out from your house carrying all the necessities with you. You didn't forget to send a message to Minho as yesterday you were bit cold to him.

[7.30am] Y/N - Good Morning Minho. I am sorry about yesterday.
I feel much better after the pills and the sleep. I will call you later.

You went to the university by bus. After spending another 15 minutes on the way, you have finally found yourself inside the big university. It was so big and there were lot of students who came there. You were excited and nervous at the same time. You went inside the university and finally after spending much time, you have finally found yourself inside the lecture hall with a crowd of another students. After some time the lecturer came and started the lecture. It was so tough than you thought but you like the lecturer and the way he teaches. After another one and half hours, you found yourself inside the cafeteria. You did not have any friends as usual and for your surprise, most of the students didn't. You bought a sandwich and a drink and ate it quickly before starting your next lecture. While you were going to the lecture hall, you got a text from Minho.

[1.30pm] Minho - [Y/N].....It's ok and I am glad that you're ok
now. Shall I get a call now?

You couldn't help but curse yourself for lying to Minho. You did not want to lie to him and you hated to do it. But it was not like you had another choice other than lying at that moment. You did not have much time to the next lecture. So you typed a reply quickly and went to the lecture hall.

After another long lecture you was finally walking to your apartment. You didn't take the bus as you needed some time thinking to organize your messy thoughts in your mind. While you were walking you remembered about Minho. You got to remember that you have told him that you will call him earlier. You quickly made a call to him.

"Hello" Minho said.

"ahm...hello?" You said without knowing how to talk with him as you feel guilt.

"[Y/N]!! What happened girl? I was waiting for your call. So how's the university?"

"Ah....nothing. I was just tired. So the........."

"Then. Shall I call you later? You better to take a rest now. If not you will have to suffer again as yesterday" Minho said with a worried tone.

"Ohh......How kind he is....." You thought to yourself.

"No it's ok Minho"

"Are you sure? Because...."

"I said, I am ok. No need to worry. I miss you so much Minho. When I was in the university I missed you a lot. I remembered how we used to stay in the school" You said trying your maximum not to cry.

"[Y/N] I miss you more girl. It's so boring staying here without you"

You did not know how to reply. There was an awkward silence. But luckily as usual Minho broke it.

"[Y/N], so how's the university?"

"Ahm......yeah it's good" You said still feeling the awkwardness.

"Good.? Only good?"

"Ah...no. It's great. It's big, beautiful and the people there were pretty nice" You said what you felt even though you haven't interacted with anyone.

"I am relieved about it. I....." Minho started to say with a caring tone.

"Minho.....just tell me how you are? How about that issue?" You said in a teasing tone knowing that Minho don't like it.

"I am fine and please [Y/N] don't talk about it" Minho said ignoring the question.

"ah.......why? I want to know about it so badly...please Minho tell me. What happened? Did she try to flirt with you again?" You said smiling lightly.

"Ah......[Y/N]....you know I don't like to....." Minho said letting out a loud groan.

"But I like it. So tell me" You said cutting off Minho playfully.

"Ah.....it's nothing she asked me to start a relationsh..."

"What? Rachel...."

"Can't you even wait till I finish?"

"Sorry"

"She asked and I said no. That's all and I didn't see her after that" Minho said willing to change the topic as soon as possible.

You couldn't help but laugh at his cute behavior.

"[Y/N] will stop it?" Minho asked with a sudden disappointment.

"Sorry Minho. I didn't mean....."

"It's ok girl. I love to see you smiling. So it's completely fine" Minho said giving you a warm feeling.

You remembered that this is the first time you laughed for the day.

"Thank you" You murmured slowly.

Minho let out a sigh and started speaking.

"[Y/N], now go back to your apartment safely. I will call you tomorrow."

"Ok. Bye"

"Bye"
