Anna Bennet
I saw Pipher after class yesterday, he looked mad or irritated when I tried introducing him to the guy I was chatting with. Then he asked if we could talk which brought a blanket of anxiety over me so I told him I was too busy.
It was true, I had plans, but maybe I should've stopped to make sure he was okay.
It was Friday morning now, so I needed to check on Pipher. And I need to make sure if he's mad that we fix it before the Christmas holiday.
I rolled out of bed and walked toward the window in my room. Snow was falling peacefully and the ground below looked like it was covered in a blanket of it. Maybe Pipher was outside enjoying it.
Quickly, I dressed myself and combed back my hair. Charlotte was just waking up as well and before I left I gave her a wave goodbye. Her side of the room was a mess as always, but thankfully not as bad as it normally is. Only because I yelled at her to clean it.
"I'll be back later," I said, closing the door behind me.
I walked down the long corridor which was surprisingly quite empty, probably because everyone was either sleeping or eating in the dining hall.
Once I reached Pipher and Charles's door, I knocked.
"Who is it?" A sleepy voice said from inside.
"Anna,"
Moments later, the door opened and Charles was standing in his plaid pajama pants and long sleeve shirt. His hair was all a mess.
"Where is Pipher?" I asked.
"I don't know," He said, yawning, "What happened last night?"
"Your guess is as good as mine. Last thing I remember is Ben and another kid walking you back to your room and then walking me to mine," I spoke.
Charles looked confused as all hell. "I'd ask Ben," I said.
Unknowing where Pipher is, I left Charles to head back to sleep and went back down the corridor. Maybe he's in the library, outside, or in the dining hall.
I walked around for about 30 minutes, looking throughout the hallways and corridors. The fields were empty of people so I could check that off the list of places he isn't. I really didn't feel like going to town and searching all the small shops and stores so I temporarily gave up my search and went to get eggs, toast, and a coffee for breakfast.

I woke up, well rested in a room that wasn't mine, the air was crisp and cool, but with the heavy blanket on me, I wasn't cold. Lucy was standing in the middle of the room dressing herself.
"You're finally awake," She joked, sitting down at the edge of the bed by my feet, putting her shoes on, "Want me to bring back some breakfast?"
I nodded and she shook my leg before standing up. Her roommate was gone as well.
I laid in the large bed for another few minutes before getting up. Most of my clothes were folded neatly in a stack on the desk chair. I quickly shuffled over and dressed myself, unwanting Lucy to open the door to me embarrassingly putting my clothes on.
Once I was dressed, I made the bed neatly and tidied up the small mess I had made. I sat on the edge of the bed awaiting Lucy's return.
A few minutes later she enters the room, her hands nearly full of food, I take some from her, giving her a free hand.
"Thank you," She said, speaking gently.
"I'm sorry for sleeping here last night," I said.
"It's no problem at all," She responded, "My roommate didn't come back last night anyway. She was probably doing what we were doing somewhere else," She laughed.
I laughed as well. We both ate our food silently, staring off, avoiding awkward eye contact. Once we both finished our food we tried to discuss a way to leave the room without anyone suspecting anything.
"Pretend you came here for advice," She said, "Make up some fake story about a girl you like when you leave,"
That wasn't a bad idea. "Sounds easy enough," I laughed nervously.
Though I wasn't proud of what I did last night, Lucy was very comforting to me, similar to how Anna used to be.
Both Lucy and I stood up from the chairs we were sitting in and walked to the door. She gave me a look and I began to talk to her about my "crush".
There were few students in the corridor, making our plan go quite well. We began a normal conversation as we walked back down to the dining hall to return our silverware and dishes.
Now what was I to do for the rest of the day. I didn't feel like trying to explain myself or lie to Charles on why I wasn't in our room at all last night. How much time had I actually spent with Lucy?
Lucy Nova
What I had done last night was strange to me, yes I was bored, and yes I needed to entertain and occupy myself somehow, but why did I go through with it?
I hardly knew the boy's name, or anything about him. One thing I knew for certain was that he is awful good in bed. And I mean better than the guys I had slept with in a while.
Walking in the corridor with him made me feel like a giant because of his small size. By that I mean he's short, NOT small. He was average, but it was weirdly good.
I don't know why I agreed to it, but It's only confusing me more to think about that. Before leaving him for the rest of his day I handed him a small sheet of paper.
"What's this?" He asked, taking the paper.
"Open it," I commanded him.
He did and read the writing with my home address and full name to address any letter to if he wanted to write to me over the holiday. He didn't know what to say in response to the paper but just folded it and put it in one of his pockets.
For the rest of the day I picked out a book from the library to read over the holiday and hung out with a few friends. It was a normal day.
I'm experimenting with switching around perspectives so I hope you like it!
