Hey lovelies! Now that I've talked about key parts of Pipher's summer vacation, it's time to shift the focus back to Anna! Remember, the timeline may be a little confusing but please try and stick with me!

Without further ado here's chapter 49,

Anna Benett

I didn't quite understand the rules completely but I got the simple details.

Sneak in, steal the jewelry, sneak out, and sneak into the ministry.

"Do you have a plan?" I ask Lilith.

"Do you think I just have plans drafted for every event that may occur at any moment? No!"

"It was just a question jeez,"

Everything I have done in my life as well as Lilith's have hopefully prepared us for this. The last part of the "Infinite Quest" or at least I hope it's the last.

"How about we just go in, no plan whatsoever? We have to do this sooner than later," Lilith suggests.

I hate to admit it, but she's right. We need all the time we can get.

"Teach me a few spells before we go in," I commanded her to which she began teaching me a few more new ones and what they're used for.

"You enter through the side entrance there," She pointed to a small door, "And I'll enter through one on the opposite side,"

"Are you crazy? You want us to work separately?" I spat, "That'll end up getting us both killed,"

"Wouldn't be the first time. And besides, if were separate, one of us should be able to complete it,"

"No Lilith, we're working together,"

We argued and fussed around on our plan that wasn't getting us anywhere, just wasting time.

Once we stopped, we made a simple plan on how we were planning on doing this.

I'm going to sneak around and look for the jewelry while she watches my back for any guards or anybody else who may be trying to stop us. If we are caught, Lilith will tell me and we can begin to fight them.

The kingdom of Benari is a magical one so most likely, all the guards are magically trained

I didn't have much confidence that I could actually fight real people off in an emergency, but then again, I'm with Lilith Lossknot, one of Maglins most famous students who taught me the knowledge that I know.

My undivided attention was focused on this quest.

It's life or death.

We both made our way sneakily to a side door on the castle where we collected ourselves before I carefully opened the door and slowly stepped inside. To our surprise, there were no guards by this door, but we could see some guarding other entrances.

Lilith and I quietly made our entrance, leaving no tracks behind. We ducked down behind a sofa as a figure walked past the room we were in.

It was elaborately decorated with antique furniture and expensive paintings hung on the walls. We shuffled across the room, hiding behind furniture as we came up with the next plan of action.

One guard had stepped out of place to assist with something in another room, leaving one guard on the outside of the room we were in. The house was very intricate and some rooms connected to many other rooms. It looked very easy to become lost in. Like a maze.

Instead of going straight to the staircase we could see, we decided to navigate to a different one that would hopefully give us a smaller chance of being caught.
