Pipher Green
After breakfast, I went back to my room to get clean clothes, shower and brush my teeth.
"Well, well," Charles spoke as I entered the room.
He started questioning where I was but I just ignored him and got clean clothes out and my shower supplies ready.
"Where were you last night? Why didn't you come back?" He asked, "Why are you ignoring me?"
"Not in the mood to chat,"
"Not in the mood? What's gotten into you lately?" He questioned, "You haven't been yourself,"
I continued to ignore his silly questions and finally grabbed a towel and my shower supplies and left. Charles followed me to the door and I shut it on his face. I could still hear him asking questions when I was walking to the bathrooms but I didn't look back. Thankfully he didn't follow me to the bathrooms.
While I showered, I let the water run down my face as I thought long and deeply about everything that had occurred recently. I will admit, I flipped out, but there's still part of me that doesn't regret last night.
Lucy gave me a good time without all the drama along with it. But then again I had such a strong urge to get back at Anna.
Maybe drama and toxicity was what I thrived on.
Just days previous I was happy with Anna. We walked around town, got a bite to eat together, and spent plenty of time with each other.
I obviously can't tell Anna about last night. But then again, what was she up to with Ben and Charles?
I lost myself to these pestering thoughts as I suddenly heard a noise from outside the shower.
"Are you alright in there?" A voice spoke, "You've been in there a while,"
I jolted out of my daydreams and thoughts and said, "Yes,"
I then heard the bathroom door shut and I continued thinking, this time making sure to wash myself at the same time to avoid an hour long shower.
After I was done drying myself off from my shower I started to drift my thoughts from Lucy and Anna to what I was going to do on holiday. I assume because I asked my mom to spend the holiday at Anna's, that she wasn't going to send a carriage to pick me up. This leaves me to either go with Anna or to stay at Maglins.
I went back to my room, in a robe and shower shoes and Charles was gone. I wasn't too concerned with where he may be so I locked the door behind me and dressed myself in clean clothes.
The smell of baked Christmas cookies and gingerbread filled most of the school, making me hungry yet again. Once I was dressed and ready, I headed down to the dining hall.
There were platters of cookies lined up next to each other. First were sugar cookies, some decorated, and some plain. Beside them were chocolate chip, peanut butter, and gingerbread.
I grabbed a small bag and picked a few cookies to take back to the dorm to enjoy for the rest of the day. A few sugar, peanut butter, and gingerbread.
The rest of the day was quite ordinary apart from not talking to Anna.
Anna Benett
I think my mother and father are sending a carriage for me early tomorrow morning and I'm so excited to be home again.
I haven't talked to Pipher about coming home with me for the holiday and it was urgent that I did. Periodically throughout the day I went out of my way to stop by Pipher's dorm and it seemed like I missed him each time.
