Ash's POV

I laced my stick. Then turned to see Moe walk in.I smiled softly then looked back down.
"Hey there team captain."She said sitting beside me and taping her stick.I turned to her.
"So you did decide to play."I said looking at my finished crosse.
"That's a mighty clean lace,Ms Miller."Mr Peters said admiring my achievement,I smiled.
"Thanks I've been working on it."
"I can tell.Ah,Moe you've decided to join us this year I see?"He said smiling.
"Yes sir."
"Wonderful.Just try to keep that temper at a maximum five out of ten this year."She smiled.
"I'll do my best."He nodded and walked away. She looked at me and smiled.
"So.About what happened last time we were both in here."She said.I put my hand up.
"No need for an explanation.Im over it."
"Oh thank God.Cause that would of been kind of awkward."
"Yeah,no offense but I know what my type is now. Then I think I was just confused."
"Same."
"Alright girls come on on the field let's go!"He said as he whistled.
"I met someone."Moe said as we walked out.I turned to her.
"Really?Who?"I asked grabbing my helmet.
"A girl from alternative school.Shes the absolute best.A little off her rocker but I mean that makes the whole thing more fun."I scoffed and looked down.
"How about you?Did you meet someone?"
I looked at her then toward the field.
"You could say that."I said.
"Tell me about her after practice okay?"She said smiling.I scoffed.Evan signaled for everyone to line up and he sent one freshman over to be goalkeeper.I smirked putting my helmet on.
"Alright c'mon girls let's get these try outs moving!"He blew the whistle. Then Kate hit it right past the poor freshman. He whistled again, and another girl went and missed.Another whistle and another missed.Another.And Another.Without even knowing it was my turn.I walked up and channeled all of my anger into the ball and the cage.I smirked and slung the stick. The ball hurled past, barely skimming her shoulder. She gulped.I smirked.
"Finally someone scores.Good job Ash."I nodded. He blew the whistle again.Try outs were over before they started.I walked into the locker room and took off my helmet.Moe walked in after and threw me a water bottle,I caught it and downed half of it.She was panting with her hands on her knees.I couldn't help but laugh.
"You get that out of shape?"I asked taking off my gear.
"Haha.Oh by the way.I saw your crush watching us out there."I froze and turned to her.
"Who,Ally?"I asked.
"No.You idiot.Name starts with an S."She said laughing.
"Really?"
"Yeah her eyes were locked on a certain tall, well built lesbian."I furrowed my brows.
"Vanessa?"I asked. She smacked her face and sighed.
"You're unbelievably stupid."She said standing up.
"Need a ride?"
"No.Im good."I said putting my bag and gear in my locker.
"Fine then your loss."She said waving bye.
I grabbed my bag and walked out after I gave her time to leave the school. Her house was in a different direction than mine,so I didn't want to burden her with the drive.I put my bag on and looked at my phone.
eyesac:How'd practice go?
:It was good,I didn't miss a single shot.
eyesac:of course you didn't.
I smiled then closed the locker room door and began walking home.It wasn't dark outside but the sun had starting going down.It was extremely peaceful, until I heard a car coming up behind me.I saw who it was out of the corner of my eye but I pretended she wasn't there.I stopped walking after a minute. She pulled up beside me and I heard the door unlock.I hid my smile as I walked toward the door and opened it.I sat down and refused eye contact. She cleared her throat and started driving again. The drive was so quiet.I sat looking at my bag in the floor.
"You did good today."She said,I turned to her with an unreadable face. "At...your practice I mean. You did good at your practice." I smiled.
'She's the first person besides coach that has ever told me that.Thats all i've ever wanted. Was for one person to tell me that I did a good job.'I felt tears welling in my eyes I quickly blinked them away before they could be noticed.I just nodded to her.I was burning up from how anxious I was.I reached over my head and pulled the hoodie.I felt the cold air hit my stomach.
'Oh no.'
I realized I didn't wear a shirt underneath.Sarah glanced at me and turned red.
"Jesus sorry,I forgot I didn't wear a shirt underneath."I reached for my hoodie. She waved me off.
"It's ninety degrees outside I won't make you wear a hoodie."I smiled as I laid my head back. When we pulled into my driveway I saw Issacs car.She put her hands on her legs and turned to me.She looked at my stomach and scoffed,as she looked away.I turned to her, then looked down.
"Um about these."I said dragging my finger down my neck to my stomach.
"Nope no need for an explanation."She said tired.I nodded and clenched my jaw.I grabbed my bag and opened the door.
"Thanks for the ride Ms Paulson."I closed the door before she could respond.I walked inside the house and Issac looked at me from the couch with an eyebrow raised.
"Don't ask."
"Okay."He said turning to the tv.
_____________
Sarah's POV

As soon as I got home I laid my head on the wheel and screamed. When I lifted my head I turned to where she was sitting, and raised my brow. She left her hoodie? It was a grey hoodie with sports number on it.
"I'll give it to her some time."I sighed as I walked inside my house.I stopped at the front door then went outside and grabbed the hoodie.I brought it inside and stared at it before dropping it in the washing machine.
'I needed to do something as some sort of redemption.'
I went into my room and laid down.I began to think.
'What did she mean by two days yesterday?'
Then I remembered Morana talking about some sort of birthday.Suddenly my eyes widened.
"Are you fucking kidding me.-"
