Prom.

Ash's POV

I stopped by the suit rental place with Issac.I walked in and grabbed both of ours.After we headed back to the house and started getting ready.I took a shower and washed my face,I never had a problem with acne which I was very grateful for.I did my hair in a half up half down style.I stared into my own eyes and smirked as I shot myself finger guns.I walked back into my room and slipped my outfit on.I ran my hand down the gold embroidered velvet navy suit.I left the top few buttons of the white silk under shirt undone.I wore a pair of navy and gold embroidered suit pants,along with a designer belt around my waist.I also had on a pair of black gloss dress shoes,around my neck I wore two gold necklaces and my skull necklace.I slipped on a gold ring for each finger before grabbing my phone and walking downstairs.When I reached the bottom step I saw Eli and Issac hugging and Moe stood there awkwardly before looking at me.She wore a silk black dress with thin straps,barely above the knee along with a  pair of heels.She had her hair Bobby pinned back and she wore eyeliner and faint makeup.Her jaw hung open as she adjusted her faux fur overcoat and hand bag.She tapped Eli and he had the same reaction,I had when we saw one another.He wore a plaid skirt with a loose white button up with ruffled collar and sleeves,his hair was in a half up,half down like me.He wore eyeliner and heavy makeup.I whistled at him.
"Holy shit."
"Hey back off Ash."Issac said with a hand in his pants pocket and an arm around Eli.He wore a red suit suit with a loose black shirt and bow tie and a gold chain hanging from his pockets.
"All yours pal."I said holding my hands up defensively laughing.
"Y'all ready?"Moe asked then realized what she said.I hooked an arm around her shoulder as we walked out.
"Hah.I guess I really have rubbed off on you?"She scoffed and got into my car.
"Sure Miller."I smirked and slipped my glasses on.Eli and Issac got in the backseat.I got in and put the top down.
"Noooo Ash my hair."Issac whined and everyone turned to him.He cleared his throat and looked down.
"Uh never mind."
"What I thought."
I smiled as I cranked the car.The radio clicked on and I pulled out of the driveway.
'Young and beautiful.'played through the speakers and everyone sang along.I couldn't help but smile as the warm air hit my face and the music blended into the background.
"Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?~"Everyone sung along except me.Those lyrics made me question some things.
'Will she still love me?'
I shook the thought as we pulled into the school.We all walked in a little after the dance had started,the gym was packed full.Some students,some teachers I saw a group of boys pour a bottle of vodka into the punch.Mr Harmon saw them and yelled,they quickly scurried away.He stood there in defeat,not bothering to find them nor to empty the punch.I laughed as I turned to Moe,when Eli and Issac held each other hand in hand and walked away.I playfully held a hand out and she scoffed as she took it.We walked out beside them and Eli saw me and rolled his eyes jokingly.
"Cock blockers."
"Damn right."Moe said and I saluted them with two fingers.I caught her stare and winked,she quickly looked down with a blush on her face.The song quickly changed from some nineties song to a song apparently Moe knew.
"Holy shit I love this song."
"What is it?"
She turned to Issac and sung the song in his ear seductively.He looked scared and she laughed before doing the same to Eli.He laughed.She turned to me and grabbed my chin and sung in my ear.
"I'm burning up yeah all I see is red,she said fuck me like I'm famous.I said okay.~"I couldn't help but blush a little at the sudden contact.She pulled away and sung the song normally.
"Slow down.Im about to show you baby slow down."I   saw Sarah walk out of the bathroom and sit down by the punch,she wore a sad look.
"Hey I'm gonna go get a drink."
"Try not to get alcohol poisoning."I laughed and walked through the crowd.I stopped at the punch bowl and dipped a cup in.I sniffed it and it burnt my nose.A familiar song played and I scoffed before walking over.Before I could I was pushed into a crowd of unfamiliar faces,when I finally got out she had disappeared.I walked over to Moe and she wore a sly look.
"What?"
"You're looking for her?"
"Yeah."She put an arm around me and pointed to the exit sign.
"She went out there buddy go get her."I smiled and chugged the entire glass.
"Damn."She said laughing.
I held my throat and winced before walking out.I looked around before I saw her leaning against the wall with an unlit cigarette in her mouth,I walked over and flicked my lighter.She looked hesitant before leaning in and lighting it before inhaling a puff.I leaned on the wall beside her.
"Why are you out here?"
"What?"I asked laughing.She turned to me with a hurt face before smirking and turning away.
"Nothing."
"No what is it?"
"I mean what are you out here wasting your time with some English teacher double your age."She turned to me and my face fell.
"What?"
"I heard those girls in the bathroom."
"Look,Sar I said that to get them off my back.You don't think I actually meant it did you?"She went quiet for a second.
"I don't know anymore.I mean what are we doing.Your leaving next year,hell what am I doing."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean your still young,practically a kid fuck your not even done with high school."She laughed and took another puff.
'Alright that pissed me off.'
I grabbed her cigarette and threw it down before standing in front of her with an angered face.
"Was I practically a kid the other night when you screamed my name?"I asked leaning forward,she stared at my lips before leaning in.I pulled back and stared at her.
"If so.Thats kind of fucked up on your part."She scoffed as I stepped back.
"Well what are we supposed to do?Long distance?Your going to New York Ash,that's over two thousand miles away."
"Who told you?"
"Moe."
"Oh."
"I had to hear it from your ex."
I scoffed and smirked.
"Yeah I guess we could do long distance what's so wrong with it?"
"How many relationships over long distance have you heard of working out with zero complications?"
I went quiet and stared at her.
"Exactly."
"What are you suggesting?"
"We don't have to split up Ash.I mean we can just open the relationship."
"Like be poly like Kylo?-"
"No I mean like no restrictions,like we can have sex with other people but just have feelings for each other."I nodded and leaned on the wall beside her.
"When does it start?"
"Whenever.I guess we could start now to get used to it."I nodded and looked at her softly.
"You think this'll work?"She stayed quiet before intertwining our fingers.
"I do."
I smiled.
"Ive been thinking and I feel the same way Y'know."
She looked at me and smirked.
"About what?"I turned to her with a smile.
"You're really gonna make me say it huh?"She nodded.
"Yeah."
"I Uh.I love you too I guess."I said looking up at the sky and laying my head on the wall.
"Good to know."She said as she grabbed my face and leaned in and kissed me softly.
