Happy Birthday.

Sarah's POV

'I should get her something nice.As some sort of apology.'
I looked on a jewelry website and something caught my eye.
'Oh yeah.That should do just fine.'
I made a call and the lady said it should be ready tomorrow morning,I thanked her and hung up.Got a long day tomorrow,I closed my eyes and dozed off.I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock in my ears.I opened my eyes and looked at the time.I was completely awake and I sprinted to my bathroom.
"Of course I wake up late today,of all days!"I showered,then dried my hair.I put my clothes on,and put on a black skirt barely above the knee with a long sleeve white loose button up with black heels.I grabbed the coffee and ran to my car.
'I have one last stop before work.'

Ash's POV

I woke up to a cold sensation over my face.I jumped up and looked around.I saw Moe and Eli laughing in front of me.
"Uh he-."I tried to talk but was cut off.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!"They both yelled as they picked me up and hugged me.
"G-guys."I pointed to my throat,to which they let go.
"Sorry.But I mean your finally eighteen."Eli said.
"The best year in my opinion so far."Moe said. "Feels like it was just last week I was turning eighteen."She said wiping a fake tear.
"Probably because it was-."Eli said earning a shushing finger from Moe.
"Ah memories."I walked off and while they were busy with that I walked into the bathroom.
"I'm getting a shower.Dont raid the kitchen please."I yelled as I locked the door.
"No promises."I scoffed.I heard footsteps descending so I opened the door and walked to my desk and got my craft scissors and walked back and locked the door.
"It's now or never."I said pushing my long hair out of the way.I began snipping it to above shoulder length,after about twenty five minutes I was done.I had a huge smile on my face.
'I loved it.'I trimmed it up to where it was about the length of a mullet.But y'know not an actual mullet.I got in the shower,after I was done I walked back into my room only in bottoms and a bra.
'They're still downstairs.Gives me a good opportunity to surprise them.'
I put on a pair of dark jeans with my grey lacrosse sweatshirt,and air forces.I wore my contacts instead of glasses.I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs.
"Okay are y'all ready?"I asked grabbing an apple.
"Did you just say y'all?"Moe said before freezing with her jaw hung as she saw me.Eli looked at her.
"What is it?"He asked before turning with wide eyes.They both stood up and walked towards me.Eli started immediately touching my hair.Moe just started shaking me.
"WHO ARE YOU?!!"She said in between laughs.
"How did you get it so even?"Eli asked.
"I don't know actually."
"Alright lets go show off this sexy motherfucker to the entire school."Moe said hitting my back making me cough.
"Jesus we won't be able to if you kill her first."Eli said walking out.

Sarah's POV

"Yes I made an order last night."I said to the cashier.
"Oh yes ma'm I'll bring it right out."I nodded.Before long she walked out with a box and opened it.It was a silver necklace with a skull pendant with diamond eyes.
"Is this your correct order?"The woman asked.
"Yes it is."
"Alright we'll mark it down and you can pay right here."
I walked out with the necklace and made my way to the school.When I got there I saw three students outside.Two of them I recognized,the other one looked new.Until I noticed the numbers on the back of their sweater.I felt a twinge of anger.
'If this is another random ex that popped up,I swear to God.'I gritted my teeth and avoided eye contact as I walked inside.I knew the person was staring at me.

Ash's POV

'I was practically drooling.'
"Ash."
'I wonder if she recognized me?'I thought smirking.Before I could continue with that thought I felt a hand hit the back of my head making my neck bend.I looked up to be met with unamused expressions.
"Uh what the hell?"I asked.
"Can you stop eye fucking our teacher for two seconds,and help us plan your party?"I blushed.
"Party?"
"Yeah,a party.Y'know for that birthday that is today."
"Oh.Who's party?"They glanced at each other before walking into school with no other word.I stood there confused.I soon ran after them and went into class.I earned a smile from Mrs Rabe.I smiled back.
'She was cute.But she's married,and I have eyes for someone else.'
I felt my phone vibrate,I looked down.
eyesac:Hey he's home.Please stay at a friends house tonight.
eyesac:happy 18th by the way.
:Will do.
I looked up and zoned out thinking about Sarah.
'She looked so hot this morning.I don't know what it was."
*Ring*
'Already.'
I mean it's not like Mrs Rabe ever have work to do but still.I stood up and walked to Mr Wittrocks class.He spoke about how crippled our society was.I like him because he wasn't like other adults.He blames his generation and the previous ones for how shitty our world.Most blame it on the younger generation.I sat there dozing off before.
*Ring*
Third block went by the fastest.It was just a group project but everyone already finished it.
*Ring*
Fourth block.I had gotten a few compliments on my hair through the day.It made me feel confident.I took a deep breath as I walked into her class.I felt eyes on me.I looked up and walked towards my desk.Her jaw was hanging and I smiled at her.She didn't take her eyes off of me until the class started to fill.

'What the fuck.'
I smiled under my hand.
'What happened to the girl I saw only yesterday evening?'
I couldn't keep my eyes off of her.The way her hair sat perfectly,a few strands hanging down in front of her face.The way her eyes would stare into mine,and I would just float away,and that smile.That damn smile.Just then she met my stare and smirked.
