Who knew unpacking boxes could be this much of a workout. You had one small room and a half bathroom, it shouldn't be this hard to unbox and set up. How in the world did it take two hours to get through not even half the boxes.

You set up the bed and part of your closet. You were in the middle of unpacking books and other things that would go on your large shelf located near your desk.

Right as you were plugging in a small dog lamp under your shelf a small knock can be heard from the other side of the door. You lift your head and bump it on one of the shelves only to have books fall on you, causing pain to spread through your body, a few curse words leave your mouth as a result.

"Y/N are you in there?" It was Mina Ashido, a pink skinned girl with an acid quirk. You remember how happy she looked in her file's photo.

"Ya, just give me a second." you rub your now throbbing head before forcing yourself up off the floor and opening the door.

"Hey Y/N, you settling in ok?" Mina stared at you, her eyes wide with curiosity and excitement.

"Yeah I guess you could say that, I didn't realize how long unpacking would take." You look back and gesture to the multitude of unpacked boxes.

"Well maybe you could use some help, I came to talk to you and become your friend," she smiled, "I know coming to a new school with new people is hard so I'm hoping to be able to help you through it."

A smile makes its way on your face, from what Aizawa told you, you knew Mina was a social butterfly but for her to come up to you, a new student and a stranger, and offer her friendship.

It's very sweet.

"If it's no trouble to you I would love some help, and in return, I could answer some questions you may have." you cringed how formal you just sounded, you needed to turn off your professionalism and let loose slightly.

"Ya that would be great." she punched a fist in the air before you let her in the room. "So what do you want me to unpack?"

"Well anything labeled closet, I started unpacking them but got distracted with other boxes."

Mina broke the tape on one of the boxes. "So what kind of school did you go to before this?"

Straight in with the questions.

You smile, "I went to a boarding school in America."

Her head snapped quicky in your direction, "you lived in America!?"

"Ya I lived in multiple places but for middle school, I mainly lived in America."

"Wait, where else did you live?"

"Oh I lived all over, I was born in Japan but I then lived in Italy for a little bit, then I came back here, Then I went to boarding school but in the summers I lived in Greece or Italy. I also spent some time in Russia for a foreign exchange program. I lived their about a semester." Your smile grows at all the fond memories that flooded your mind from your travels for the commission and your training.

"Wow you really did live all over, that's so cool, I wish I could travel more but being a student at UA makes it hard to have any vacation time. I went to Canada once to visit an uncle."

"Well, Canada is nice in the summers."

"Ya, it was nice." She looked down at her box before looking back at you. "How did you feel earlier today when Bakugou challenged you to a fight?" That was a quick change in subject.

"It was alarming at first but then I realized that he just needed to prove himself." You put the last book on your shelf before fully turning to Mina. "And I have a good feeling I'm not the first person he has challenged."

"Oh no he challenges people all the time, he just wasn't prepared to be beaten so easily." She folded the box and put it in the empty box pile "I think you hurt his pride when you beat him in front of the class."

You chuckle "Good, angry toddlers need to be put in their place."

A laugh exploded from Mina's throat, "He does act like a toddler, he throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way all the time too."

You smile "Ya, but I think pushing his pride down a little bit might make him a better person."

"Ya, I hope you're right too." She opened another box. Damn she was fast.

The next hour was spent unpacking, sharing stories, and answering questions. Before the two of you knew it, it was time for everyone to go back to their dorms for curfew.

You said your goodbyes and closed the door behind you.

You had just made your first official friend. It was good progress.

You then sit on your bed and take in the silence, it has been so long since you had time to think about everything, this time is important. Silence is important.

Your phone then begins to ring, your silence is ruined.

You look at the contact and realize it's one of your teammates El. It must be important.

You answer the phone. "What's going on? Is someone hurt? Did someone do something stupid? Did Azail break Max's nose again?"

He laughs at all your questions "Boss calm down I was just checking how your first day at the new school went."

"Oh," So he was just checking up on you. "It was good I guess.... one kid challenged me to a fight but I shut that down pretty quickly." You hear a loud crash sound in the background. "El what was that?"

"Oh, Specks just tripped and took down a bookshelf with him."

"Is he ok?"

You hear El yell across the room and it is followed by a loud response.

"Elwood is he ok?"

"Ya he's fine"

A loud sigh escapes your lips, you love your team but they are also a bunch of idiots, not that you're any better.

"Jeanist seems on edge about something, so as a heads up he may give you a call."

"Is everything ok at the agency?"

"I think so but I'm not fully sure, a lot of people are on edge about something I'll see what information I can get. I'm sure Al or Specks could also acquire something."

"Any information you can get would be helpful." Why were people on edge?

"You got it, boss."

You smirked "So how are you and Al?"

El sighed at your question. Yes, he did love to talk about his boyfriend, but the team's favorite thing to do is tease him about how whipped he is for his boyfriend Alister. "We are good, really good."

You smile, he really was whipped for this boy.

You were the one to help get the two together after about a year of obvious pining. You had to check up on your OTP every once in a while.

"Well, I'm glad to hear."

"Ya, well I have to go there to call curfew and it's my turn to do night patrols."

"Oh god I hate night patrols, you have fun with that," you say, recalling the memory of having to walk through the empty halls making sure all the rookies and younger agents were in their rooms.

"Ya, well talk to you later, boss."

You smile "night El," the call then comes to an end. You missed living with your team but being at UA was good for you. Good for your future.

You need to get sleep, fate only knows what the day will bring tomorrow.

You plop down on your bed and in no time you are out like a light, which is very surprising.
