You walk into the office absolutely exhausted from the week of school you had. If you had to look at one more quadratic equation you were going to cry. You had just finished an essay that was due Monday and you were halfway done with a lab report due Wednesday. You were planning on finishing the report this weekend but deep down you knew you were not going to touch that report until Tuesday night.

You flopped down on the couch and amused chuckles hit your ears.

"You look like shit, rough week?" God damn him.

"Shut the hell up, Specks." He laughs more.

"I'm gonna take that as a yes," Maxwell added, pouring you a cup of coffee and placing it at the table next to you.

The door opens and you hear the voices of Azail, Midoriya, Bakugou, and El.

"So basically the fire I release is hotter than regular fire." Azail stops and looks at you. "You look like shit, rough week?"

"Fuck you."

El laughs. "I'm gonna take that as a yes."

"That's what I said." Maxwell chimes.

You sit up and grab your coffee. "Where's the walking peppermint stick?"

"Icy Hot's got some family thing." Bakugou plops down on the seat across from you, clearly just as exhausted as you are.

"You want some coffee?"

"I don't drink that nasty shit."

You chuckle a little before taking a sip of your own. "You could have just said no."

You sit in comfortable silence for a few moments before Al walks into the room. It wasn't long before a voice broke the silence. "Now that mostly everyone is here I need you guys to come and take a seat." Specks says as he brings over a tablet and a file.

Everyone takes a seat. For some reason El never sits on the couch, he places himself right by Al's feet on the floor. Your team was used to this by now but Midoriya looked slightly confused. Azail is forced to take the only seat in the room next to Max. You're surprised she didn't take a seat on the floor just to spite him.

"Ok, so I have the next mission." Specks says proudly. That amount of pride is soon crushed as everyone groans. "It's a dress-up mission if that helps." That seems to get everyone's attention. "Not everyone can dress up though because I was only able to secure four tickets."

Azail picked up the file "Tickets to what?"

"Mr. Maki's Charity gala." You shot up at his words.

"No fucking way." Azail hands you the file. "Specks you fucking genius."

"Why thank you Karma, I do try to be useful."

"So who's going?"

"Well here's my thinking. The Gala is being held at Mr. Maki's estate so while everyone's distracted El and Al along with Midoriya can sneak around the estate. Todoroki is Endeavor's son so he can't go because he will be recognized instantly. He will stay back and observe with me. That leaves Maxwell, Azail, Bakugou, and Y/N as our four who actually get to attend the Gala."

Midoriya looks in your direction. "Wait if Karma's dad is working with Maki then wouldn't that make Karma recognizable."

Specks smiled, "That's the thing She's-"

You cut him off. "Maki doesn't know what I look like because I have never met him, and my dad isn't one to show people family photos." You smile. "Specks I'm gonna say it again you're a fucking genius."

El smirks. "So who's getting paired with who?"

"Well, Bakugou has never done this so I was gonna recommend he stays with the boss." Specks say as he types on his tablet.

You smile and you look in your teammate's direction."So that means."

"Absolutely not."

"No."

"You can't make us."

Azail and Max get up from the couch and move to opposite sides of the seating area. "You can't fucking be serious."

"You want me to go to a gala with him?"

"Her, really?"

This bickered back and forth for about five minutes before you decided to put a stop to it. "Sit down now, that's an order." They quickly shut up and take seats on the floor.

"You will be going on this mission together, this will not be messed up because you two can't get over yourselves, am I clear?" They nod.

"I said, am I clear?" This time in a more stern tone.

"Yes."

"Crystal."

You smile. "Good, now I do believe we have a mission to plan so let's get on with it."

After about a week and some change of planning it was finally time to set the mission in motion.

You look at yourself in the sleek carmine red maxi dress. You think the slit in the skirt is a bit much but you look nice.

You wear a nice red eye makeup look with a red lip to match. You need to look as rich as possible so El managed to borrow a set of gold jewelry to match your shoes.

You walk out of the changing room and see the man who is supposed to be your date to the gala struggling with his tie.

You had to admit Bakugou looked rather nice in a sleek black suit. It was tailored perfectly and drew attention to all the right places. His broad shoulders, his small waist, and muscular arms. You needed to stay focused.

"Do you need help?" You ask.

"No I don't need your fucking help, I can do it my damn self." He barked as he fumbled with the die. He starts untying his failed attempt aggressively "God damn it, why the hell do I even have to wear this thing."

You giggle as you step in front of him and take the tie out of his hands. He doesn't stop you. You find it quite cute how he's pouting but still letting you help him, but you'll never tell him that.

"You need to take a breath from time to time, you know." You say as you complete the first step "No one here is going to judge you for needing help, especially not me. We're a team, our job is to support one another and even though you are just an honorary member, you are just as important as the official ones."

You smile up at him "There, see it wasn't hard to ask for help and now you look great."

"Ya, ya don't think this is gonna be a normal thing," Bakugou mumbled. The tips of his ears flushed red as he checked over your work.

"I'm sure it won't be but just know I'm happy to help." You turn away from him "But this does explain why you don't wear a tie in class."

"Oh shut up." You laugh as you walk towards the door.

You may never know this but Bakugou couldn't keep his eyes off you. He didn't tell if it was a feeling of respect, frustration, or adornment. But he did know that you looked good in red, especially when your dress matched his tie.
