Epilogue

You awoke to the sound of silence. And even though there was silence, your brain didn't seem to get the memo. The events that you had recently experienced began to replay in your head. The hospital room wasn't helping. You hated hospital beds and things hooked up to you. Thoughts began to race a mile a minute, but before you could work yourself into a panic you felt a shift next to you.

You turned your head and smiled. Katsuki's head was right next to you, his eyes closed, his breathing even. He's asleep, He's at peace. Your eyes shift your hand and your smile grows. His fingers are interlaced with yours. You rub your thumb over his calloused hand. His presents remind you that it's over now, the worry doesn't have to be present in the back of your mind anymore. You're safe, He's safe, the rest of the world can wait a moment.

You lift his hand to your lips and place a gentle kiss on it. This action causes him to stir awake. His face scrunches before you are met with his crimson eyes.

"Were you watching me sleep?" He asked, his voice deep and horse from the nap.

You run your fingers through his hair "You looked peaceful."

"You're a fucking creep you know that?" He scanned your face "How long have you been up?."

You brush a piece of his hair out of his eyes. "Only a few minutes, how long was I out?"

He sits up and stretches, you catch a few pops that probably came from his back. You could only imagine how long he had been sleeping in that uncomfortable position."You were only out for a day... you overdid it with your quirk so you just needed to sleep. You also had a bit of what looked like sunburn according to that fucking spaz of a doctor that was watching over you." You chuckled and nodded before looking at the blonde.

His hair was smooshed in on one side and he had a few bandaids on his face. His eyes were sleepy and his clothes were all messed up. He looked adorable but you weren't going to tell him that. Your smile grew as continued to look at him.

"The fuck are you staring at."

"You."

He clicked his tongue "Well no shit, why are you looking at me dumbass?"

"You're really pretty, you know that?" That seemed to make him go quiet. It was clear he had never heard those words before, and you were happy to tell him that. "I'm looking at you because you're nice to look at."

He was silent for a moment more before giving you his signature smirk. "So you think I'm good-looking?"

"Yes, Yes I do."

"Ya well, Since I'm the best and I'm good-looking, I only date the best and someone who is equally good-looking."

You smirk "Is that so?"

"Ya, ya it is." He leans in and connects your lips. It's soft but you also feel hints of relief. "And you're the best there is" He whispers before he continues to kiss you.

You soon break away from his lips "So does this mean we're officially dating now?"

He rolls his eyes "No I'm arresting you, of course, this means we're officially dating." He drags you into another kiss. His lips felt so nice, you wished you could stay like this forever.

But you know deep down that's not possible.

And even though you're going to have to deal with Hell later on. You were going to enjoy heaven for at least a few more minutes.
