Chapter Nineteen

"Are you sure that this is the right move boss?"

"El, I'm positive, we need all the backup we can get." You say, already taking out your phone. You needed as many trained people as you could get and it helped that these people were also members of the hero commission.

"Y/N you haven't spoken to them in months."

"I've sent them a text from time to time, and besides they'll want to be a part of this." Without another word, you hit the call button and your phone rings a few times before two voices begin talking on the other end.

"Hey, it's the loser."

"Wow look at you finally calling us, that's a big girl move."

You sighed "Shut the fuck up, and I called you not that long ago."

"And by not that long ago you mean like three weeks ago."

"Oh please, you know, you guys can pick up the phone and call me sometime."

"I guess." They were truly something else.

You were getting off-topic "I need your help, it's big."

"Oh ya, what's the problem?"

"It has to be big if you're asking the two of us for help."

"It's really big and really bad." You sit and explain everything to them. Viper's kidnapping, her setup, and Violet's plans. How your father was coming to help with these plans, everything. You didn't need anyone going into this blindly, all information was to be shared. "So that's why I need your help. Luca, Sorin, will you help your younger and ONLY sister defeat the enemy that is Violet and our dad?"

"HELL YA." They both screamed.

"So what's the plan?" Luca was always straight to the point, he was the oldest and you always looked up to him. Figuratively and literally, the guy was six foot four and built like a truck. But he was always soft and introverted compared to his younger counterpart Sorin. But unless he was given a push he may not take the more dangerous chances that could end him in a better place later.

Sorin loved to make friends. He loved to travel and while he was slimmer than Luca he was naturally fast and could run miles with little effort. He had little patience and had a tendency to jump into things before thinking so he always needed some kind of supervision when it came to big plans.

And that's why calling in both of your older brothers was the best choice. The two of them balanced each other out.

Behind you, the door opened and Endeavor walked through, followed closely by Bakugou, Midoriya, and Todoroki. Specks made a shushing noise and pointed to you to make it known that you were on the phone.

"Both of you need to get down here but keep it discreet, we don't need dad hearing that I asked you two for help, especially since he is on Violet's side."

"This bastard is always causing us problems, and ya sounds good."

"We'll go in a back way to make sure we aren't seen."

"Perfect."

"So how's school?" Luca was silently jealous of the fact that you were allowed to go to UA. While you got to go to the dream hero school he had to stay at the Agent Boarding school. Of course, he graduated a few years ago but you can tell he was still a little bitter.

"School's good, it's a lot of math, but it's fine I guess."

"Do you have any boyfriends... OR girlfriends, we don't discriminate." Sorin on the other hand just wanted you to put yourself out there.

"No, no boyfriends or girlfriends, just my work right now." you had to end this quickly as Endeavor looked like he needed to tell you something. "Look I have to go, hopefully, the next time we talk it will be in person."

You said your goodbyes to your brothers and put the phone down on your desk.

"Who the hell was that?" Why was Bakugou always so nosey?

"You'll find out soon enough." You turn to Endeavor "Was there something you need to tell me?"

"Ah yes actually, your father entered the building this morning and set up an office in the south wing." He took a breath. "He has requested an audience with you."

"What! Why?" You didn't want to talk to your father, much less alone. Your father was always strict and when you put even a 'toe out of line' as he would like to put it, you would get screamed at or criticized. The same went for your brothers. Over time your siblings as well as yourself distanced yourself from the man in any way you guys could.

"He didn't specify why he wanted to speak with you, only to tell you that the next time I see you." Endeavor gave you a small look of pity before asking Maxwell and Specks if they would be open to training with your classmates.

You straighten up your uniform and attempt to put your skirt down as much as you can. You leave your office and follow Endeavor's directions to your father's temporary office.

Your hands ball up into fists as you approach the door. You reach your hand out for the door but the person inside opens it before you get a chance. You look up and are met with a familiar pair of e/c eyes. The only difference between your eyes and his is the cold look that always looms in the back of the sea of e/c your father's eyes hold.

"Ah, Y/n what brings you here?" you look at him with confusion.

"You asked me to be here."

"Oh, right I did request you didn't I." You can't believe you are related to this man. "Please take a seat. I have a few things we must discuss."

You nod as you slide into the chair facing your father. "Y/N as you know Viper has recently been excused from her position due to issues with treason."

"Yes, I am aware."

"Well, I'm sure you're also aware of the fact that we believe that Viper was working alongside others within the commission."

You raise your brow "You believe she wasn't working alone?"

"We have no reason to." He takes out a file and opens it, He slides it to you, and inside is what appears to be statistical reports. "The statistics show that the female lead teams were more likely to report to Viper than they were to Violet, so he has the knowledge to believe that the team helping Viper was the female lead," he explained, his eyes watching you as if he is looking for some kind of confession.

"What are you insinuating here father?"

"I am simply asking if you know anything since your, um"

"A woman?"

"Yes."

Is he being serious right now? "No, I don't know anything and if you asked me to be here just to accuse me of a crime I didn't commit then I shall be leaving." You get out of your seat but are stopped when a fist comes and hits the desk.

"Sit down." You do as you're told. "Now you listen here, until we get a name of who is working alongside Viper there will be restrictions on mission opportunities for certain teams."

"And by certain teams, you mean those that are led by women."

"Yes, teams that are led by females."

"Don't you think that's a bit sexist?" You ask this question in English, in your native language. Not in Japanese, in the language that you know your father entirely understands. This leaves zero room for confusion.

"It is what has to be done." He closes the file and puts it back into his desk drawer. "You are dismissed."

You get up and leave but his voice stops you "Oh and Y/N, it's good to see you again."

It took all the self-control you had not to put a blade through his chest.
