The courtyard was probably the most peaceful place to sit and gather your thoughts. Not to mention the nice lunch of onigiri and tempura shrimp that the cafeteria had offered. The weather was nice and it was perfectly quiet and peaceful.
"Hey Y/N!" Why does this always happen when you finally obtain quiet? You turn and see Mina and Kirishima approaching your lunch spot.
"Hello." You do your best to muster up a smile.
Kirishima bent over your shoulder expectantly. "So... Y/N," Kirishima hummed, "I think what you do is really manly."
Oh, he was definitely buttering up to you. "Thanks."
He invited himself to sit with you and Mina tagged along both taking a seat at your side. They both had their lunches with them so they seemed to be planning to stay the entire lunch period. You have a feeling that this conversation will be similar to the one you had with Bakugou a few days before.
"We have a few questions to ask you about your job if that's ok." You called it.
"Ya no problem, what do you want to know?"
They asked the same questions Bakugou did, and you mostly gave them the same answers just without anything too personal, Kirishima also asked for some training tips.
"Do you think we could do some training together?" He asked eagerly, curious about the different types of conditioning the Hero Commission made you do.
"Ya sure just let me know when you have time and I will happily teach you a thing or two."
"That sounds awesome."
"Do you think we could spar together two Y/N?" Mina asked, clearly wanting to be a part of the training as well.
"Ya, just text me when and where."
"Sounds good I will just have to check my schedule and I will text you."
You began to eat your lunch and they began to eat theirs. Kirishima had a very balanced lunch full of protein and greens while Mina's was a warm soba dish from the cafeteria.
You began talking about the other evening and the events that took place.
"You know I think Bakugou just made these accusations about you because he was jealous of how strong you are," Mina said, breaking the silence.
You let your words sit with you for a moment before you responded. "I think he felt his number one spot in the class' power category was threatened so he was just trying to defend it."
"Ya definitely sounds 'ike Bakubro." Kirishima said, his mouth full of food.
"I mean I would be worried too if I was one of the strongest but then another person came in and threatened to take away my spot."
"That's true."
Mina nodded and then spoke, "Although I hope it humbled him a little bit, He needs to learn to accept that people are stronger than him."
"I'm sure it did, he needs his ego turned down from time to time." Both nodded in agreement. Bakugou was strong but his piss-poor attitude was going to hold him back from becoming his best. He needed to take a chill pill and loosen up a little bit.
But that was his problem, not yours. You were not responsible for anyone's attitude but your own.
You all ate and talked about upcoming assignments and tests. Before you knew it the bell rang and it was time to go to your next classes.
The next few classes were dull but you had training 101 as your last period that day. You knew that it would be in the classroom today but you still found the class interesting.
The Commission trained you like a soldier, while UA trains you like heroes. There are many similarities but also differences.
And those differences fascinated you.
The things you grew up with are taught in different ways to help people instead of causing them pain. You knew you were making it deeper than it had to be but it was something new than what you had learned from a young age. Today you may not be learning about fighting or reissuing but it was still nice to listen.
You took your seat and waited for the class to begin.
The bell rang and Mr. Aizawa stood at the front of the classroom with what looked to be a list. "Starting this weekend you will be taking time for a hero work-study. You all had to submit your agency paperwork by this morning. I will be going down the list and if any changes need to be made please meet with me after class."
You didn't have to submit paperwork because you would just be at HQ for the next week. It would give you and your team time to worry about missions as well as do more research on what happened with Viper.
He went down the list by hero agency. "Bakugou, Todoroki, and Midoriya will be with the Endeavor agency." That you perked up at. The three of them working with Endeavor sounds very funny. Endeavor may be a shit father but he is a decent pro hero and he has a tight way of instruction.
You may have to swing by his agency just to see how the three boys will hold up.
Though with all the work you have this coming week you doubt you will find time to leave for too long.
Not to mention getting used to all the new rules. Earlier in the week, you got to pick up your uniform and you have never been more horrified in your life. The navy blue skirt just covered your ass and the white button shirt was way too low cut, the top button was placed way too low. You decided a pair of thick black tights and the navy blue blazer might be the only thing that saves you from seer embarrassment.
The male uniform looked professional and the female uniform looked like you belonged in vegas.
You were just going to have to deal with it and focus on other things.
The bell rang and you as well as the rest of your class walked back to the dorm's discussing your hopes for the upcoming week.
