Bakugou stared at you, eyes scanning you trying to figure out your next move. He knew you could tell he was terrified of your abilities. He hated that you knew this. He was staring at you, preparing for whatever you had to dish out. You stood there, staff in hand practically teasing him to try you. The look on your face was mocking him. Mocking him to come and try to fight you; try to win.
Was this your way of calling him weak? It was clear to tell why you didn't accept his challenge. You were strong, and you were proving that even if you were showing off. Bakugou knew you didn't need to, he figured out pretty quickly you could beat him without your quirk if you tried hard enough. Even though he would never admit it out loud.
He wasn't going to give up though. All he needed to win was to touch the bomb, but that wasn't enough for him. I needed to capture you, make you eat your words, show you that he was just as strong as you. He was going to make you regret the words you said to him; regret that you declined his offer.
So he charged full speed in your direction. Explosions blasting out of his palms. The room temperature is rising. He reaches out to grab you. His fingers get closer and closer until....your gone.
Bakugou slams face-first into the wall of the room. You appear behind him and using his signature right hook, you slam it into his nose. He feels the blood trickle down his face. His vision soon after became blurred.
"Nighty night moron." You say right before punching him a second time across his left cheek, his body collapses, leaving him unconscious. You shake your fist as it starts to throb, that man has a hard head; figuratively and literally.
You walk out of the building as your opponents were carried out on stretchers to Recovery Girl's office. You felt bad watching them. You went a little overboard.
You know you were going to end up being chewed out for your actions. You had the tendency to get carried away during training exercises. Especially when there are now people to train with. Being cocky while fighting was one of your bigger flaws.
The walk back to the observation room didn't take as long as you wanted. You entered and were met with many shocked faces. You were also met with a face of disapproval from your uncle.
You made a small awkward wave in the silent room. Everyone looked in awe at you before practically screaming different things at you.
"You looked so cool!"
"What else can your quirk do?"
"You took them out so quickly."
"Your quirk is so manly."
All of the praise came to an end when your uncle cleared his throat. The class quickly fell silent and you were prying what came next didn't have to.
"I need to speak with Ms. L/N in the hallway." The class gave you looks of pity and fear as their teacher motioned you to follow him. A few students mouthed 'good luck.'
He walked out and you were hesitant to follow. Your feet dragged behind you as he led you into a private pocket of the hallway. Your uncle's lectures were something you were not fond of.
You look at the floor before opening your mouth to speak. "Look I know I-" But he cut you off.
"What did I tell you not to do?" He asked sternly; you could feel his gaze. It felt like he was trying to suck out your soul from the top of your head. You sighed before mumbling a few inaudible words and then falling silent again. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that again Y/N." His tone is a little bit harsher than before.
"You told me not to go over the top."
He sighed "Yes I told you not to show off and what did you do?"
You thought for a moment about your next words "I won." A shadow of a smirk appears on your face. You look up for a moment and are met with an unamused expression of your uncle. "I showed some of my quirk's capabilities to the class; I don't see the problem."
"The problem is, instead of doing things the simple way you chose to show off to your class as well as knocking two of your new classmates entirely unconscious."
You meet your uncle's gaze. "Both classmates can be healed by Recovery Girl, and my classmates got to see my capabilities." You lean up against the wall behind you, "If I knew that Recovery Girl couldn't heal them then I would have taken another approach."
"This isn't the commission Y/N, you have to calm down especially when training."
"I know it isn't the commission but I want people to know what my quirk can do that's why I approached the situation the way I did."
Mr. Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose clearly done with your quick tongue, "Just don't do it again, learn to control your excitement." He motioned for you to lead the way back to the observatory. Thank all might it was over you thought.
You re-enter and take a seat next to Mina. She leans over to you and whispers "That was really impressive, I'm gonna have to spar with you at some point."
You smile before whispering back, "You pick a time and I will happily train with you." This girl was really starting to grow on you.
The two of you chat as the teachers explain where everyone improved. It wasn't long before the bell rang signaling the day had come to an end. Everyone was quick to leave and you were quick to follow.
You grabbed your stuff and made your way down the hall. You pass Recovery Girl's office before stopping. You turn around and stand in front of the door.
"What am I doing?" you ask yourself before opening the door and entering.
