TW: Violence, Near-death experience

You stare at the person before you, eyes wide. "You're alive?"

"Alive and well actually."

"How is this possible, you died, You... You didn't make it out, I was there."

A smile tugged at her lips as you continued to ramble. "Nozomi.... How?"

"How else? I knew what was going to happen, I helped plan the damn thing."

You hear footsteps leave the room. Violets gone.

Your breath quickened with confusion. "But Sye and... and Besa they.."

"Collateral damage, it was for the greater good."

"Greater good?" You looked at her, anger ablaze in your eyes "Since when are sexism and discrimination greater good?"

She grabbed your face, forcing you to look at her. "Since it will put myself and Maxwell on a pillar of power. I was so tired of having to answer to a weak leader."

She released her hold on your face, leaving your cheeks sore and possibly bruised. "Maxwell deserved so much better than you, the only reason you were promoted was that you won Viper's favor."

"That's not true."

"All this hard work you put in was the same amount of hard work the rest of us put in, you just were Viper's golden child."

You don't know what came over you, but you snapped.

"You're just jealous that someone two years younger than you was ahead of you in training. It has nothing to do with Viper, you are just green with envy that I was able to grow a pair and accomplish something you knew you will never reach."

You continued, "And Maxwell had that ability to reach that potential until you faked your death, you piece of shit. He hardly has any motivation to go on missions anymore. Hell, he can't even ask the girl he's had feelings for, for over two years, on a date because he thinks he's worthless, and IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT."

A sharp pain made its way to your face. Nozomi's hand was now read from the contact. Tears stung in your eyes but your pride forced you to blink them away.

"How dare you, my brother's depression was because of your failure as a leader. Not my failure as a sister. I have sacrificed EVERYTHING for him, and you will not belittle me."

"You sacrificed everything to better yourself-" You hit more of a nerve than you were hoping to. Because hit after hit came without warning. Soon enough blood dripped from your nose.

Your mouth normally got you in trouble but this was something that you may not be able to get out of without help. Your face hurt, you were tired, but Nozomi didn't care.

In a sudden instant of rage, the door was kicked down by none other than Katsuki Bakugou, with Midoriya, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Mina by his side. Their eyes glistened with anger, fear, and now assurance that you were alive. They held defensive stances, waiting for Bakugou who stood in the doorway to make a move.

Bakugou looked like the embodiment of fury, his eyes burned like fire. He made the first move, it was slow, deliberate, and calculated. He was beyond pissed, and he had every resource in the room to let it all out. So he did.

Mina and Kirishma came to your aid, with Kirishima fumbling and fighting to get the cuffs off you.

"Kirishima, if you can just deactivate the cuffs that I can get out of them."

"How do I do that?"

"Grab the middle of the cuff and activate your quirk."

Kirishima followed your orders perfectly and in little time you were able to activate your quirk and release yourself from the cuffs.

The rest of your team makes their way into the room.

"There was no sign of Violet." Damn it.

Suddenly Bakugou got launched into the wall. This action caused you to run over to him. He was minorly bleeding in multiple places.

Your classmates began advancing on Nozomi, but she was skilled. Very Skilled.

Maxwell stopped at the door and he stared at Bakugou's opponent with wide eyes.

"Nozomi" He breathed.

Nozomi looked up and locked eyes with her younger brother. "Maxwell."

"Why...How... Why are you doing this."

"I'm doing this for you, I'm saving you from the hell hole the commission has become."

"This isn't saving anyone, you're hurting innocent people."

"It's for a bigger picture, I was meant to save us and I will do whatever it takes to reach that goal."

"You think you were meant to save us? That path was never meant for you. You left us, You left me, you left because of your jealousy and selfishness."

The two continue going back and forth. Bakugou stands back up.

"Bakugou what are you doing, your hurt please let the rest of us handle this."

Without a response, Bakugou blasts forward. Nozomi was prepared. She grabbed him by the throat and slammed him to the ground. Her throat began to glow green.

"You want to see some actual fire," She spat. She began to open her mouth. You quickly jumped over and grabbed Bakugou. This caused you both to roll across the room. Green flames erupted from her mouth only inches from you.

That was close. Too close.

Nozomi continued to fight off your team. But she soon realized that she would lose this fight.

Green fire began to surround her, making everyone take a few steps back.

"This isn't the end, just know that."

Soon the fire disappeared and everyone was left shocked. The ride back was dead silent. The information of Nozomi still being alive didn't sit right with anyone. Maxwell was taking it the hardest but he put on a mask until you got back to headquarters.

He said he needed some air before walking out. Azail was quick to get up and follow him. It was a rare sight to see her act so quickly without conflict from her pride.

The two cared about each other and she was the best option for comfort.

"So who was she?" Todoroki asked.

Specks looked up from working on Bakugou's wounds. "That's Nozomi, Maxwell's older sister. We thought she died on a mission a little over a year ago along with two other teammates. We were all heartbroken."

Al let out a breath "That mission was the reason we transferred out of America. We needed a change. We all needed time to heal from our mistakes."

Specks then continued "Nozomi showing up was a shock to all of us. It's going to take us a moment to process this information."

You look at the door "Especially Maxwell, He took his sister's death very hard. And finding out she's working for the enemy is really messing with him, it's best that we give him space."

The room was quiet for a moment before everyone went back to what they were doing. You couldn't help but steal glances at Bakugou. He almost died and it was your fault.

You didn't want to think about what could happen if you weren't fast enough. You wouldn't tell him but you did care about him. You didn't know what kind of feelings these were and that was ok. You had bigger things to worry about.
