A/N: I changed Lela's name to Alyssa. Having Lela and Leia in a story isn't a smart idea and I've finally changed it. Hope you guys don't get confused!

"So are you and Alyssa a thing?" Luke asked, wrinkling his nose. He didn't like the idea of him and Alyssa. Sure she was a sweet girl but she wouldn't understand Michael, not in the way his sister did. Alyssa also didn't fit into their dynamic. She wasn't into any of the same things they were and having a girlfriend who was friends with your friends, is important. Michael groaned.

"I don't know. I don't want to be a thing." Michael murmured, closing his eyes. He wanted to somehow block out the memory of him and Alyssa kissing, him and Alyssa holding hands, him and Alyssa doing everything he wanted to do with Leia.

"Then don't be a thing." Calum said, as he strummed lightly on his guitar. "Simple as that buddy." Michael groaned. He wished it was as simple as that but it wasn't. Not only would Alyssa be heartbroken, but so would Leia. He didn't want that.

"It's not that simple." Michael muttered opening his eyes. "I just gotta get out of this mess." Michael murmured, more to himself than anyone else. Luke snapped his fingers, pointing at Michael.

"That's good." He immediately pulled out his notebook and began scribbling something down.

"I'm glad you're getting ideas from my misery!" Michael exclaimed. Luke smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry man, I've been trying to get a good song title for these, these lyrics and I just came up with a chorus thanks to you." Michael sighed and Calum shook his head.

"Let's hear it." Calum murmured, waving his hand. Luke grinned, lip ring catching the light.

"Okay, well I have the entire first verse." Calum and Michael clapped rather unenthusiastically. Luke rolled his bright blue eyes. "It goes, Even when the sky is falling down. Even when the earth is crumbling 'round my feet. Even when we try to say goodbye, you can cut the tension with a knife in here." Calum pointed at him.

"You took that line from me, I didn't know you wrote it down." A few days ago, Calum had walked into Luke's house while him and Michael weren't speaking to each other. It was mostly Michael who was ignoring Luke because he had beat him at a game Michael was supposed to be very good at. That's when Calum walked in and said,

"You can cut the tension with a knife in here." Luke blushed.

"Yeah, I wrote it down. Sorry." Calum waved him away. He was used to it, they were all used to it. Luke continued to write down lyrics. "Anyways, want to hear what else I have now?" Calum and Michael nodded. Luke took a deep breath and,

"And if the earth ends up crumbling down to its knees baby, We just gotta get out. We just gotta get out. And if the skyscrapers tumble down and crash around baby, We just gotta get out. We just gotta get out."

"You wrote that all right now?" Calum asked, slightly impressed. Luke shook his head, tapping his pencil against his lips.

"I had the two lines, I just needed a like in between line." Luke tapped his pencil against the notebook. "And there it is. Do you guys like it?"

"I think it's great Skywalker." Leia called down from above as she made her way down the stairs, and across the living room floor. Luke grinned up at his twin sister.

"Thanks Princess." Luke said fondly, looking up at his sister. Leia ruffled Michael's hair and punched Calum's arm before sitting down between the two and kicking her feet up onto the coffee table.

"So what are you idiots up to down here?" Leia asked with a wide smile. Luke shrugged as he continued to tap his pencil against his notebook.

"Luke is taking our words and writing songs again." Calum grumbled lightly. Calum wasn't annoyed, because this happened all the time, but sometimes he wondered why Luke would write down all these random phrases and sayings when none of them correlated to make a full song. Leia leaned forward and Michael tried not to stare at her back as her shirt hitched up.

"What you have so far big brother?" Leia asked with a grin. Calum smirked at Michael over Leia because he noticed what Michael was trying not to do. Luke shifted his notebook over to show her. Leia skimmed the title and the lyrics, grinning the whole time. "Hey that's really good. Hold on, I know you have the perfect second verse in here somewhere." She murmured as Leia took the notebook from Luke's hands.

"I do?" Luke mumbled confused, scratching his head. Leia nodded but continued to flip through the book, looking. Her eyes suddenly lit up and she triumphantly handed Luke back his notebook, pointing at a line of text. Luke read it out loud. "Cause I feel so damn lost and it comes with a cost of being alone." Leia nodded and smiled.

"Good right?" Luke slowly smiled.

"It's perfect."

"Are we going to finish a song for once?" Michael asked hopefully.

"Yeah, I think we will." Calum sat up and smiled.this was a good turn of events. Leia laughed and stood up.

"You're welcome band boys." Leia sang out, ruffling Luke's hair before ruffling Calum's and kissing Michael's cheek. "Have fun writing!" Leia ran back up the stairs and Michael blushed red as he watched her leave. Calum and Luke hadn't noticed though. They were too busy working on the song.
