Alex pov
I pick her face up to look at me
"It's better this way " I say softly as I rub her right cheek she leans into my touch making my heart beat faster.
The door slams open and my mother walks in. Mia pulls away from me and I feel hurt, I turn to my mother keeping my emotions neutral.
She looks at Mia
"Leave " my mother say her voice laced with disgust and hate. Mia leaves instantly not even looking back. The way my mother spoke to my mate angers my wolf.
"What do you want " I ask voice dripping with anger.
My mother scoffs "Is that the way you talk to your mother, Alex ?" My mother asked in a bitter tone.
I sighed heavily " Tell me mother, what do you need ?" I asked in a calmer tone.
"Now, now Alex, incase you forgot she's our enemy " she said.
" I know that" I replied turning my back against her .
"But I need to remind you that you must not get attached to that human, her sole purpose is to act like a trophy Luna and produce a heir" she reminded me in a warning tone she walks behind my desk her long nail trails the edge.
I walk to my window over seeing the pack grounds she walks and stands next to me
"It's for the better of the pack" she says placing her hand on my shoulder before walking away.
She's right, sadly.
That was Mia's purpose, well the purpose of my mate, to be a trophy Luna and to produce a heir right ?
I see Mia on the pack grounds watching the children train a small smile forms in the corner of my lips. I watch her talk to Jack and Lana and then Jack looks at Lana with a worried expression and they both turn and walk in my direction.
I wait patiently for them to arrive unsure of what they will say. Lana walks in
"Did you know ?" My gama Lana says with betrayal written on her face.
"What ?" I asked .
"That she was human Alex " she says practically screaming in my face.
" Is thats how you speak to your alpha! " I say getting closer to her.
"An true alpha would never bring a human let alone her kind "she hisses. Jack stands next to her lost in his thoughts.
"Jack bring Mia here now ?" I say making Jack snap out of his thoughts, he nods before closing the door behind him.
"We can't have her here " Lana says shaking her head frankly.
"We just can't ... we have to get rid of her" she says looking up at me her wolf clearly visible in her eyes.
"You can't kick her out she is your Luna!" I say coldly.
She smiled
"Who said anything about kicking her out, I'll tell the pack just what kind of a leader you are and then I'll have the pleasure of killing her." She says madly
"You will do no such thing and that's a order " I say calmly.
"You are no alpha to me." She hisses and tries to make her way to the door.
I grab her hand to stop her but been a gama she fights back, my wolf stractches to get out and I let him . My eyes turn black and I watch as my wolf takes controls and fights Lana. She dodge my attack. We hear the front door open, Lana looks at me then smiles
"She is here " Lana says as her grin reaches her eyes , her claws extend from her fingers as she reaches for the study rooms door.
I grab her and fling her against the desk away from the door. Blood drips from the corner of her lips she touches the corner and smile at the sight of her blood. I never knew how twisted my gama was.
"All wolves listen to their mate " she says softly. She let's out a scream and I can hear footsteps heading towards the door.
I grab her in a neck lock.
"As soon as soon as that Mia girl tells you to let me free I'll kill her" she says while in my lock.
"You disgust me" I say as my claws extend out. Mia opens the door Lana looks at Mia and then starts pleading with me she is trying to act all innocent and it irritates me, my hands move closer to her neck.
"Alex!!! Wait what are you doing?" I look at her she looks so shocked, fear written all over her face, she is scared because of me maybe this is good, the further she is from me the better for all. I growl at her
"This is because of you look...look at her , look at what your mistake is gonna cost ." I say gritting through my teeth as my nails effortlessly slash Lana's neck. I'm sorry Mia I have to do this, I turn my back against Mia.
"What in hell did you do that for ?" She says screaming. I turn and look at her. I take full control of my body.
"You don't raise your voice at me " I say pointing to Mia as I walk closer to her. I think about what my mother said earlier.
"But I must remind you, you can't get attached to that human her sole purpose is to act like a trophy Luna and produce a heir "
"I am your alpha know your place" I say so close to Mia I can feel the heat radiating from her body.
My eyes flash from green to black as I fight for control from my wolf.
"You not my alpha and you don't own me " she whispers. I flinch and then clutch my fist together I walk towards her she needs to leave before I completely lose it . I grab her wrist and move her towards the door, I used too much strength as I hear a her wrist bone crush and she scream. A lone tear falls from her eye and I stop I hurt my mate shit I hurt her . I walk towards her but Jack opens the door and stands between Mia and me.
"Alex stop!!!" Jack says making me raise a brow and I turn my back against him.
"You hurt her Alex, she isn't like us" Jack says . I push back my hair in frustration I turn and look at Mia, he is touching my mate how can she let him touch her. Anger burns inside me .
"Get out both of you! " I say as look at Jack.
"Dude you hurt your mate and instead of comforting and helping her, you're screaming at us?" Jack says as he let's go of Mia's hand and faces me .
I laugh
"Why would I do that when it looks like you doing a better job" I hiss as I stand and look at Jack.
