A little treat pt2

"Shit! I forgot my wallet" he says as he rubs the back of his head. I roll my eyes.
"Go get it then!" I say, how can anyone be this forgetful.
"You want me to walk all the way over there!" He say pointing to house like it is all the way on the other side of the world. I shake my head

"Its not far...Go!" I say giving him that look you give naughty children.
"No can we just drive back, it would be faster" he say and before I can protest and lecture him on how lazy he is. He starts the car and begins to drive back.
"Fine" I say defeated.

We pull up at Alex's house, Jack opens the door and runs in for his wallet. The house casts a dark shadow over the car, the sunbeam shining through the edges of the roof, the wooden exterior painted grey give the house somewhat of haunted feel.

I stare at house for while until movement in one of the windows catch my attention. Luna Athena stares down at the car and smiles before walking away. I stare at the window and think how ones smile can be so haunting, was she smiling at me. I get lost in my thoughts when the car door suddenly opens.

I jump in my seat as I turn to drivers seat to find Jack, I sighed in relief. Jack looks at me before chuckling.
"Did I frighten you? .....What did you think the big bad wolf was gonna catch you?" He says half chuckling. I stare at him as I think of the nightmare. He stops
"Sorry" he say apologetically as he starts the car.

Before the car pulls away the front door opens reveling Alex as he walks to steps before stopping, he looks up straight at the car...at me? The car slowly pulls away as Alex's continues to stare at me. I hate living here.

The drive to town was silent, it was comfortable silence but my thoughts were not. I stare at the trees and how everything but the car seemed to move. We drove for about one and half hours until the surrounding started to look familiar.

"Can I see my family Jack ?" I ask as I stare at newly wedded couple feeding their little child. Jack doesn't answer and I know why, he has orders not to let me visit my family for the sake of my families protection.
"Please Jack, I don't want to talk to them just to see them even from a distance is fine." I say as I turn to face Jack pleading with him to take me.

"He doesn't have to know Jack and he won't !" I say as tear leaves my eyes I wipe it away before it reaches the end of my nose. But Jack catches me, he sighs deeply
"Fine we will go but you only allowed to see them from afar." He says with stern and worried tone.
"We will see them after this " he says smiling trying to lighten up the mood

I've talked to my parents before a few days after I arrived at the pack. They were so worried about me, my mother couldn't stop crying she wanted me home. But I couldn't go I explained to them that I was fine and that Trevor need help so I went with him. It was the lamest excuse ever but it bought them some reassurance. It wasn't the first I went somewhere with Trevor but was the first not telling them.

Jack opens the door for me I looked at him blankly I almost forgot about this. We entered a mall, I almost forgot what a mall feels like, the shops, the energy, the angry couples and most of all the people.
"So ?" Jack says scanning the busy mall
"where do you want to go ?" He asks as we continue to walk.

"Shopping?" I say teasing him.
"Anything... anything for you" he says almost mumbling the last part. We stop walking and I face him, he stares at me like a person who found his most precious gift and for second I felt special before he looks away.
"I mean... uh you are my responsibility I have to take care of you and keep you happy." He says rubbing the back of his neck.

I smile as I stare at the cute boy in front of me, his blushing making him seem so innocent.
"You pick something Jack seeing my family is more than enough for me, it's my way of thanking you plus I want to see what you pick" I say smiling 'am I flirting? Nnnono'.

He smiles.
"You don't need to thank me Mia" he says walking closer to me, he pushes the loose strands away from my face. I make a mental note to tie my hair from now on.
"You deserve to be happy" he says as he inches closer.

"Congratulations!!!!" A woman says as she walks over with flowers in hand
"You are our 100th couple we had today" she says handing me the flowers. Jack and I stare at each other  I look up to see we stopped by the door of a flower shop. I look at Jack and he smiles at me. I was about to tell the lady we not a couple

"Can I take a picture ?" The middle aged woman asked. I smile as I am about to decline but Jack beats me
"Sure" he says flashing out his best smile. The lady hurries in and gets her camera. I look at Jack who looks at me before leaning in and whispering.
"Play along"

I stare at him as he tries to suppress his laughter. She clicks our picture and we leave the store. I smile at lady as she says her thank you and goodbyes . We walk a few stops away before laughing I forgot what fun it was to be a little childish
"That was so bad Jack " I say as I turn back and take one final look at the store from the distance.

"Its fine...look at least you got the flowers so I don't need to buy you one "  He says as the last laugh leaves his lips. I stop as I take in his words "at least you got the flowers so I don't need to buy you one." He stops and turns around facing me with a smile.
"Whats wrong?" He asked as his smiles slowly fades.

"You was going to buy me flowers" I  ask looking at him. He looks down before answering my question.
"Well yeah...It was part of the treat" he says smiling widely. I give him one final look of suspicion before nodding my head.
"So where are going?" I ask
"You'll see?" He says

Hey guys
There is gonna be a lot of staring into eyes it's a psychological fact that staring into ones eyes strengths the bond between them
So yeah it gonna appear a lot and it's gonna seem cliche lol
