A little treat pt3

"So where are going?" I ask
"You'll see?" He says
We stop in front of a huge shop, neon lights and retro music leaves the shop.
"The arcade, are you kidding me?" I say a little to loud.
"Why... do you not like it? Jack says disappointingly.

I look at Jack his head hung low.
"No, this had to be the best place you could have picked" I say as I did a mini jump. He smiles
"Come on I want to play a shooter game" I say dragging him inside.

We play a few games as the little kids look at us yelling in our victory. 1:30pm, so we decide to play on last game. It was mini basketball, Jack plays first I try to distract him by laughing at him and acting like I'm going to tickle him there is no way I'm losing to him.

"Stop it Mia!" He says as he turn around to face me. Times up and he only managed to get 20 basketball in. I can definitely beat that. I stand in front and the buzzer rings I get 5 basketball in row. Slowly I can feel Jack moving closer and my concentration breaks and miss a few as I worry about Jack.

I am about to tell him to stop it, he tickles me sending me in a frenzy of laughs. I try to push him away but the tickles make me weak. The buzzer sounds and my times up. I only got 8 in.

"Okay.... Jack...You...win......Stop noooww" I say in between laughs he slow stops and moves away. I hold my stomach as it hurts from all the laughing. I breathe in to calm myself down. I want more moments like this I wish everything was normal, I wish I never met Alex, I wish I never had powers for once I want to be normal.

I look blankly at Jack as I think about my old life.
"Whats wrong Mia ?" Jack asked breaking me from my prison of thoughts.
"Nothing" I say shaking my head. My stomach erupts in its call of hunger. I look down at my stomach.

"You hungry?" He ask I look up from my stomach and nod in embarrassment. We walk away from the arcade, the fun from inside echoes  I somewhat smile maybe this life isn't so bad.

We walk to middle of mall where the food outlets be. Its kinda like a roundabout the food shops on the end all around and in the middle of them tables to sit and eat.

I feel like someone is watching me I turn to look and all I find is a sea of people doing all kind of different things, maybe I'm been a bit to paranoid.

"So what will we have princess ?" Jack asked me confidently. I stare at him in disbelief I am about to yell at him when he points to couple in front of us. I listen in thanks to my powers, the boyfriend calls his girlfriend princess. I hit Jack on his arm causing him to laugh.

"Oh princess you know that's not true" he says mocking the boy. I laugh
"Stop it, they will hear you?" I say as I stare at the love sick couple.
"Fine" he says as he raised both his hand in defeat.

"I shouldn't have trained you" he says softly I don't think I was suppose to hear. I take a few steps away from him and smile, he noticed my movement.
"I didn't mean it like that" he chuckles but I give him silent treatment.

He pulls the chair from an empty table as I sit not looking at Jack.
"Oh... Come on Mia you acting like a baby" he says as he stands by my chair
"I want pizza " I say poking my tongue out at the end. He smiles patting my head before walking away to order our meal. I rub my head, trying to soothe it.

I stare at all the people seated in dinning area there a family the couple from earlier and bunch of boys. They laugh loudly and talk, I see one of boys have a college logo on his jacket. I guess he plays in football team. I stare for to long as one of the boys look at me and smile.

I look away in the direction Jack went.  The boys whistle and cat call but I don't give them the attention they want. I put both my elbow on the table and use my fingers to cover my face. And this why ladies and gentlemen we don't stare at people for to long.

The boy with the football jacket wakes ups and sits on the empty chair in front of me. I look at him
"So what's a pretty lady like you doing all alone" he says as he smile pulling his chair closer to chair. I don't bother actually for half the conversation I didn't even care.

For every attempt he tried the more agitated he got, his friend laughed at all his attempts and that's when he lost it.
"You don't have be a bitch" he says through his teeth clearly pissed I wasn't talking. I turn and face him
"Oh did I offend you...bitch" he says smiling as my temper builds

" So why don't me and you leave and you can show me what you can do" he says grabbing my hair, I just look at him. He is smiling like he won the battle, I take his hands and twist it in the opposite direction he groans in pain, his finger slowly loosen their grip on my hair.

I push him away and with that he pulls a few strands of hair. He fall with the chair to the ground, his friends jump and run to him helping him up. He looks at me clearly I have shattered his manly ego.

"You gonna pay for that you little birch" he says as he walks closer to me his friends not far behind. I stand up and get in defence position. The couple from earlier, the boy wakes up as the girlfriend tries to stop him. He steps in front of me.

"Thats enough you guys leave the mall now" the girls boyfriend says pointing to exit. But the boys just laugh
"Its fine you don't have to help me I got this " I say I look at the girl sitting looking at her boyfriend terrified before she runs somewhere.

The girls boyfriend decides to charge but the boy simply moves. The girls boyfriend ends up behind him he doesn't even turn back. The girls man is about to hit again when the friends grab him and starts a fight with him.

"Guess it's just you and me now" he says I scan the guy he looks about average.
"Its not fair don't you think" I say looking behind him.
"What them 3 against one is hardly unfair" he says pointing at his friends
