I came down to the city, for some pack work. The pack from the south arrange a meeting to discuss peace between the 2 packs. The south pack has always been rivals with ours, been the second pack wasn't good enough for them. I watch as humans continue their daily lives as we drive through, enjoying their little lifes .
We near, almost the end of the city where mansions dominant all the other house.
"Alpha Alex" Jacks says as we turn into a gravel road revealing a white mansion.
I step out not waiting for Jack.
"We need to search you" says a guard as he makes his way towards me , my wolf gets angry as the man continue to search to find nothing I growl making the man move.
I walk up to the board room with Jack by my side.
"Ah....Alpha Alex welcome "says Trevor as he sits at the end of the table trying to look intimidating . A small smile cross my lips .
"Alpha Trevor" I say as a chuckle escapes from my mouth.
Acting like my present doesn't affects him is amusing .
"Let's get down to business then shall we " I say as I unbutton my suits blazer and take a seat.
"You good ?" Jack asks as we sit in the car. I look at Jack and smile
"Yeah" I say and stare out the window . There's a strange feeling the meeting was almost to easy, he agreed on every term I applied .
Jack decided that we were hungry and stop at a cafe near a university. We sit near the glass and watch students and people walk pass as we wait for our order .
Jack leaves the cafe as he answers a call, must be one of his flings I roll my eyes at that though .The door bell rings and my wolf grows crazy, a sweet scent fills the air as my wolf pulls my attention to girl that enters "MATE". I wait for the girl to look my way, to realize her mate is here but she continue to walk to the counter completely ignoring my existence.
My wolf feels disappointed and anger begins to fill in. The lady behind the counter calls for our order and then serves the girl. Jack didn't come back yet which leaves me to get our order.
I stand next to girl as I collect the cups of coffee. My wolf urge me to talk to her as he howl in ecstasy of her scent. I glance at her, she is biting the bottom of her lip as thinks what to order, her raven hair falling to side of hips. I look away as I walk to the table and wait for Jack.
Where the hell is Jack it's been about 15 minutes and with every minute my wolf grow more and more restless. I'm about to talk to her when my wolf feels like his been stalked. I look out the window to find a black van and 2 men in van.
I wake up as Jack enters the cafe.
"We've been watched " Jack says as he nears me. I turn to look at the girl one last time, if I talk to her now the people watching will know she is my mate.I breath in one last time the smell of her scent....
