Mia pov
It's been 2 days since Alex brought me back, I haven't see him or Jack since then. I'm scared what if they go for Trevor, when I asked the other pack members where they are they said they left the night they brought me back.
"Luna ? " calls Anne Jack's cousin she been helping me with the daily affairs of the pack.
"You have a pack meeting in few minutes " she says reminding that the days work isn't over.
I nod my head as I finish up the list of supplies needed for the pack house.
I wake up and dust off whatever fuzz balls that was on my black jeans and make my way to the grounds.
Meanwhile
Authors pov
Jack carefully makes his way into land of the crescent moon pack, the burnt building surrounded by the forest sets an eerie mood one of death and suffering.
In the ruins lay half burnt pictures corroded by elements, clothes slowly been eaten by the soil and the faint smell of wolf's bane.
In one of building that looks like the main building there on the wall lays a crescent moon and rose. Jack takes out his phone and takes pictures of the emblem. As soon as the camera click the sound of a branch breaks Jack turns to find a man.
The man froze before he turns and runs away, Jack runs after him and soon catches up to him and stops him. The man turns around he looks familiar to Jack.
"What are you doing here ?" Jack demands holding the man by his shirt.
He grabs Jack's hand and frees his shirt
" you that boy Mia's friend !?" The man says dusting his shirt before looking at Jack.
"Who are you ?" Jack asked taking a step forward to make sure he doesn't try to run.
The man straighten his clothes before looking Jack in the eye and says
"Mia's uncle"
Right he was at the funeral Jack thinks
"What are you doing here ?" Jack asked in a calmer tone.
The man hesitate before replying
"Visiting "
Back at the pack house
Mia pov
That was the world's longest meeting for another pack house. I watch the sun slowly set as I make my way to the house I guess another house is needed it is rather small.
I hear hurried footstep darting around upstairs. Who could that be Alex and Jack isn't home, Anne is outside and Alex's mother never leaves her room unless her sons here.
I make my way slowly up the stairs making sure not to make any noise at all. As I reach the top and see movement coming from Alex's study room but before I can do or say anything the movement stops.
I freeze as the shadow makes its way closer to door, I hide against the wall.
The shadow wait by the door before slowly closing it. I turn to see Alex's mother. She has a document half hidden in between her hands and her dress. She slowly walks into her room and closes the door.
That's weird what could she possibly want from Alex's study. I walk towards the study and push the door open everything is exactly the same as Alex left it. I close the door behind me as I enter the study I look at the paper on the desk to see if I can spot anything that looks like it missing something.
A file catches my attention, I reach for the file when the door opens and Alex walks in his face showing signs of tiredness, He looks at me
"I'll leave now " I say nervously like I've been doing something illegal.
I walk towards the door when he grabs my wrist, the warmth of his hand spreads across my wrist.
"Wait " he says I turn around to see him looking at the floor
"I need to tell you something " he says still looking at the floor before looking up at me.
