Alex's pov

The pack parted making way for me I scan the crowd and find Mia I smile at her making my way to her I reach for her hand but Jack flinch
"Hey guys " I say as I smile
"Luna, can I speak to you ?" I ask and she nods I guide her to the end of the grounds away from the pack and their hearing . She can't be with the pack they will know she is human. Jack starts the training to keep the pack busy . I stare at Mia as she looks at the pack, she turns to me.

"What is it ?" She asked
"What the hell are you doing here ?"  I shout .
"Why not , am I not Luna?" She says with an attitude, as alpha no one as ever spoken to me like that
"You don't have the strength and you not worthy of been with us " I say with a smug smile. She stares at me, Jack calls out to us but we don't move we just stare at each other. Jack touches Mia's  shoulders breaking Mia's graze Jack moves his hand to Mia's mid back .

My wolf cant control himself he takes control and transform into a full wolf and growls and they turn their attention to me,I stare at them, Jack turns into his brown wolf and stands in front of Mia. Our wolves stare at each other as my wolf tries to get his beta in line . Jack turns to look at Mia she nods her head and runs away. Have they got such a bond that they understand each other, this fuels my wolf more I attack and tumble Jack over.

A few pack members transform, I look at them and growl they cower their head. I am on top of Jack's wolf who starts to bleed, I leave him and make my way to my frighten mate. She stands there and looks at me, my wolf towers over her I bend my head and take a breath of her scent, I stare straight in her eyes. Jack wakes up why can't he stay down Jack wolves start to run to us, I couldn't stop my wolf i bite Mia on the side of her neck. She faints and Jack transform back into a human
"Why did you do that ?" He asked as he rushes to Mia .

I turn back into a human and rush to Mia's side.
"You know what's going to happen now" Jack says softly.  I nod my head, staying away from Mia is gonna get a whole lot harder.
"Jack take her to her room" I tell Jack as he feels for her pulse. He looks around at the crowd and then at me,
" I can't touch her now that you marked  her in front of everyone " he says softly. 

I look at all the pack members that started to surround us, I nod my head and pick up Mia carefully, her scent immediately ingulf me and my body starts burning. I carry her to her room and lay her down on the bed. I push away the hair strands that cling to her sweat
"She is going to wake up soon and she is going to be hungry" I say to Jack as I slowly  wake up from the bed.

"What should I get her ?" Jack asked as he thinks.
"McDonald's nuggets " I say not taking my gaze of her. Jack smiles then nods
"I'll get it now " he says. Jack leaves us alone, oh Mia if only fate would be different. I sit on the sofa and wait for Jack to come with the order. Mia starts to toss and I knew she was going to wake up. I get off the sofa slowly and softly  trying not to make to much noise, I open the door and walk to the end of the hallway.

I see Jack carrying the order in his hands. He smiles at me I just look at him
"She will wake up just now" I say coldly and walk pass him.
"Jack ?" I say facing my back against him .
"Take care of Mia " I say, my head hung low. My wolf let's out a cry and i walk away from the pack house.

I walk to the forest next to pack house and make my way to cliff and sit on the edge.
"She is the enemy..... she is just a human and she is here just for the pack" I say as I try to focus but my whole body burns and all my wolf can think about is Mia. She needs to stay away from me the further the better.
