"Alex......"I whisper, I take a step back to put some distance between us but he closes it.
"You coming home with me !" He states as he grabs my hand and begins walking.
Home ? That's not my home it was never my home.
"No" I whisper as I slowly stop walking
"What did you say ?" He says as he turns to me, low growl coming from him.
"No ! I'm not coming with you " I tell him looking straight into his eyes. I try pulling my hand away but he tighten his grip, I have a flash back of what happened to my wrist last time and stop .
He steps closer I can clearly see all his features the dark circles under his eyes as if he hadn't slept for while, and for a moment he looked like he was arguing with himself but then all of sudden his eyes flashed from green to black and he scowl at me. He started to drag me away.
"Let me go, why are you doing this ?" I say as I struggle to break free.
"Why do you smell like him ?" He turns to me. I don't know what to say.... I just stare at him.
Some form of guilt washes over me that I don't understand. So i follow him as he leads me into forest and onto the road where a black car is parked. He opens the door and signals me to get in.
What am I doing I should make a run for it and get to Trevor
What if he gets to me before I reach Trevor
What will happen when I do reach Trevor
Alex gives me a slight tug towards the open door. I turn back towards Trevor direction before entering the car.
Alex also looks back before getting in and driving off. The drive to the airport was extremely uncomfortable not only did I want to strangle him but the guilt still lingered there like a form of betrayal, betrayal to who.......
Time skip of an awkward flight
My internal fight came to an end when I started to notice familiar buildings. We back home,
it going to be another long drive to pack house.
Alex clears his throat before looking at me then the road
"How are you feeling ?" He asks
That is a very dumb question how else am going to feeling about been kidnapped having my family killed and let's not forget to mention been dragged away from Trevor
I take a deep breath in before answering.
"ecstatic " I say sarcastically with a smile trying to hold back my anger and tears.
He looks at me with a disappointed look on his face before looking back to the road.
"I have to do this, don't you see ... I'm not a villain. " he says in calm desperate voice.
"Not a villain I'm sorry did you just say not a villain, let's see all the things you have done." I use my fingers to start counting all the twisted things he has done.
"1 you kidnapped me
2 you used my family safety to keep me there
3 my family died because of you
4 you killed someone right in front of me
and lastly you murdered your own father if that doesn't sound like a bad person to you then I don't know what does" I say folding my arms.
The car immediately stops and I hold the dashboard to brace for impact. The car in back of us hooter as they drive past shouting cuss words at us.
"What the hell Alex?" I ask turning to face him, he just looks shock well shock isn't the word to describe the emotions he had displayed on his face for a split second, it was more like when someone takes something special away from you. That feeling of utter sadness and despair.
"Alex? " I whisper as I touch his hand which is grabbing the steering wheel so tight. He relaxes at my touch but then pull his hands away.
"We should get going" he says after clearing his throat. I look at the window ha what did I think that he the great alpha Alex Dante would share his feelings I should know better by now. He is the complete opposite of Trevor.
We reached the pack house. The whole pack has gathered in the grounds waiting for our arrival, they holding welcome back signs. Welcome back ??
" how was your trip Luna Mia?" A lady asked.
A trip of course Alex lied.
"It was fantastic " I saw with a small fake smile.
I greet everyone and thank them for welcoming me back, once the crowd disperses I see Alex's mother standing right in front of me an eerie smile on face before she walks away.
"I'll escort you to your room " Alex say from behind me which startled me.
"It's fine the pack house is right here" I say with a smug smile
He chuckles "no you'll be staying with me " he says leaning in.
"Why ?" I say in shock
"It's so you don't run away from me, mia rose " he say calmly but it manage to give me goosebumps.
Time skip of a few minutes
Nightfall come quicker than you think and I found myself unable to sleep. I wonder if Trevor is okay. I wonder what he thinking, I never would never leave him like that I hope he know that. The door opens and in walks Alex his black hair holding drops of water and his skin lightly moist from the shower, the towel holding on to his hips for dear life.
I block my eyes to avoid seeing his abs which I already seen.
"Sorry I forgot my clothes" he says as he quickly grabs his clothes. He enters the room again wearing a black shirt and grey track pants. He lays down on the bed next to me.
This is going to be a long night ....
