Ten's POV

That mandarin was the worst thing that I've had in a long time. It was so... weird, and the texture was way too slimy for me. And the white part that was so flavorless yet bitter at the same time, too. I don't know why Yeona even had that inside her apartment.

Thankfully, I'm now away from those terrible mandarins. Unfortunately, that means I'm also away from Yeona, but she'll probably come visit tomorrow, hopefully without any fruit.

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure that I managed to get closer to her through that experience, even if it was a terrible one. Or maybe I'm just imagining things. All I know is that the second half of the activity was pretty fun.

As I'm trying to clear the image of the mandarin from my mind, my phone sounds with a notification that someone has texted me. Checking it, I see that the "NCT + NCT F" is going off with at least two texts per second.

The first text that I see is from someone with a familiar contact name...

So they've invited Yeona into the group chat... Yeah, that explains a lot. At least, it explains why the messages are going by so quickly it's hard to catch up to them. It's like all of NCT is somehow active at the same time to welcome the new member of the squad.

We've finally returned from practice, meaning that it's time for me to talk to Yeona. Just as I'm about to pick up my phone to do so, Yangyang comes walking into the room. "I wanna see Louis and Leon."

I nod, not responding but instead staring at the hallway in confusion. The open door is allowing sounds of panic and chaos to flow into my room. Usually something like this wouldn't be strange, but this sounds like it's been caused by something serious.

"What are they freaking out over?" I ask our maknae.

He shrugs, casually walking over to the window and peering out of it. "Oh, nothing. Just Dispatch drama concerning you and Yeona."
